Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (National alignment under God’s Lordship)
Daniel 9:4-5 “And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, ‘O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.’” (Identification repentance for national sin)
Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Consecration and surrender)
Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” (Purity and spiritual preparation before God)

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before embarking on these prayers, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

WEEK 12: KINGDOM LEADERSHIP AND INFLUENCE IN EVERY SPHERE

Day 79 (18 August 2026)

Theme: Character before Influence

Kingdom leadership begins with character. Before God entrusts a person with greater influence, He develops the heart that will carry that influence. Position without character can become destructive, but character gives leadership the capacity to steward authority righteously. As South Africa calls for leaders who can bring wisdom, justice, and transformation, the Church must first cultivate leaders whose private lives are aligned with the God they publicly represent.

Action item 1: Pray that God will establish integrity and righteousness in the hearts of Kingdom leaders.

Psalm 78:72 “So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.”

Proverbs 10:9 “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.”

1 Timothy 3:2 “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach.”

  • Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, that You establish integrity in the hearts of those You are raising to lead. Before You entrust greater influence to us, establish truth within us. Let our private lives agree with our public witness. Deliver Your people from hypocrisy, hidden compromise, dishonesty, manipulation, and every form of character that would undermine the authority You entrust to us. Give Kingdom leaders clean hands and pure hearts. Let integrity become the foundation upon which their influence is built. May they be people whose word can be trusted, whose decisions can be respected, and whose lives can withstand scrutiny. Raise leaders whose character remains intact when no one is watching and whose commitment to righteousness does not change according to circumstances. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Action item 2: Pray that humility and the fear of the Lord will govern Kingdom leadership.

Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

Micah 6:8 “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Philippians 2:3 “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”

  • Lord, establish the fear of God as the foundation of leadership in South Africa. Teach those who lead to remember that authority is entrusted by You and must never become an occasion for pride, self-exaltation, or the oppression of others. Give Kingdom leaders humility to listen, wisdom to learn, and courage to admit when they are wrong. Deliver them from the hunger for recognition, titles, status, and control. Let the fear of the Lord govern their decisions. May they pursue justice, love mercy, and walk humbly before You. Raise leaders who understand that true greatness in Your Kingdom is expressed through service. Let their leadership elevate others rather than diminish them. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Action item 3: Pray that Kingdom leaders will remain faithful when entrusted with influence.

Luke 16:10 “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”

1 Corinthians 4:2 “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”

Proverbs 28:20 “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.”

  • Father, make Your leaders faithful. Teach them that influence is something to steward, not something to possess. May they remain faithful when entrusted with little and when entrusted with much. Protect them from the temptations that accompany influence such as greed, corruption, pride, favouritism, compromise, abuse of power, and the pursuit of personal gain. Give them endurance to remain faithful when leadership becomes difficult. Let them honour their commitments, keep their word, handle resources responsibly, and remain accountable to godly principles. May the leaders You raise in South Africa be trustworthy stewards whose influence increases because their character can safely carry it. We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

  • We declare that God is establishing integrity and righteousness in the hearts of the Kingdom leaders He is raising in South Africa. Psalm 78:72
  • We declare that the fear of the Lord will become the foundation of leadership, producing leaders who govern with wisdom, discernment, and understanding. Proverbs 9:10
  • We declare that humility will mark the leaders God raises, and that they will use authority to serve rather than exalt themselves. Matthew 23:11
  • We declare that Kingdom leaders will pursue justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. Micah 6:8
  • We declare that the leaders God raises will be faithful with every measure of responsibility entrusted to them, from the smallest assignment to the greatest position of influence. Luke 16:10
  • We declare that corruption, pride, greed, manipulation, and abuse of authority will not define the Kingdom leaders God establishes in South Africa. Proverbs 28:20
  • We declare that God is raising leaders whose character can safely carry their influence, whose integrity can withstand scrutiny, and whose faithfulness will bless generations. 1 Corinthians 4:2
