Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)

WEEK 14: KINGDOM FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES
Day 97 (5 September 2026)
Theme: Families and Communities as Agents of National Transformation
Action item 1: Establish Kingdom families as foundations of national transformation
Genesis 18:17-19 “And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, 18since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.””
Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””
Psalm 112:1-2 “Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. 2His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.”
- Father God, establish our families as strong foundations for national transformation. Let our homes be places where You are honoured, Your Word is lived, and righteousness and justice are taught and practised. Give parents grace and wisdom to lead their households in Your ways and to raise children who love You, walk in truth, and serve others with integrity. Let families make a clear and courageous choice to serve You, declaring, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Bless the generations that follow. Let our children and grandchildren be mighty in the earth, grounded in Your truth and marked by righteousness. May what You establish in our homes overflow into our churches, communities, and nation. Lord, build strong Kingdom families whose faith, character, righteousness, and justice become a blessing to our nation and generations to come. We pray in the name of Jesus.
Action item 2: Multiply Kingdom values from families into communities
Matthew 5:13–16 ““You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
2 Corinthians 9:8–11 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; is righteousness endures forever.” 10Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.”
1 Peter 4:8–10 “And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
- Father God, let the values You establish in our families overflow into our neighbourhoods, churches, schools, workplaces, and communities. Make our families the salt and light, bringing peace where there is conflict, wisdom where there is confusion, and hope where there is discouragement. Multiply in us a spirit of love, generosity, service, reconciliation, and practical blessing. Give us grace to use what You have entrusted to us to serve others and to do good without growing weary. May our homes become sources of blessing beyond our walls. May our good works shine before others, bringing glory to You and causing thanksgiving to glorify Your name. We pray in Jesus’ name.
Action item 3: Mobilise families and communities to become a blessing to the nation
Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”
Isaiah 58:10-12 “If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul,
then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. 11The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. 12Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”
Matthew 22:37-40 “Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
- Father, let Your Kingdom values established in our families overflow beyond our homes and influence our neighbourhoods, churches, schools, workplaces, and communities. Make our families salt and light, bringing peace where there is conflict, wisdom where there is confusion, and love where there is division. Give us grace to be generous, hospitable, and ready to serve. Teach us to use every gift and resource You have entrusted to us to encourage, reconcile, strengthen, and practically bless those around us. Multiply the seeds of righteousness, love, generosity, and good works that are sown through our families. Let our homes become sources of blessing, our communities experience the fruit of Your Kingdom, and our good works cause others to glorify You in Jesus’ name.
