Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)

Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Consecration and surrender)
Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” (Purity and spiritual preparation before God)

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before embarking on these prayers, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

WEEK 15: KINGDOM CULTURE AND BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

Day 104 (12 September 2026)

Theme: Kingdom Values in Business and the Marketplace: Praying for God’s Kingdom values to be established within South Africa’s businesses, workplaces, professions, and marketplace. Praying for business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, employees, and economic decision-makers to operate with integrity, excellence, justice, wisdom, accountability, and respect for human dignity. Asking God to raise believers who understand that their influence in the marketplace is part of their Kingdom assignment and who will demonstrate that business can be conducted in ways that honour God, serve people, create value, and contribute to the flourishing of society.

*All scriptures (unless otherwise stated) are from The Passion Translation (TPT)

Action item 1: Establish integrity, justice and righteousness in business

Proverbs 11:1 “1Dishonest business practice is something that Yahweh truly hates. But it pleases him when we apply the right standards of measurement.

Leviticus 19:35-36 “35Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. 36Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.”

Micah 6:8 “No! Listen, O Adam’s offspring, Yahweh has made it plain to you what is best. He has shown you what he really is longing for from you-only to promote justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.”

  • Father, in Jesus’ name, we ask that truthfulness, transparency, fairness, accountability, and ethical conduct become defining characteristics of South Africa’s business environment. Expose corruption, fraud, exploitation, bribery, dishonest dealings, manipulation, and every practice that places profit above people and righteousness. We pray for the reverential fear of God to come upon our business and commerce, that those in positions of influence will honour You, uphold what is right, act with integrity, and conduct business with justice and righteousness. Let a culture of honesty, accountability, excellence, and godly stewardship be established throughout our nation’s business sector. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Action item 2: Raise Kingdom-minded business owners, leaders and professionals

Colossians 3:23-2423Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others. 24For we know that we will receive a reward, an inheritance from the Lord, as we serve the Lord Yahweh, the Anointed One! “

Proverbs 16:8-9 “It is better to have little with a heart that loves justice than to be rich and not have God on your side. 9Within your heart you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there.”

Daniel 6:3-4 “3Now Daniel had an extraordinary spirit and possessed exceptional qualities. He so distinguished himself among all the chief officials and the governors that Darius intended to set him over his entire kingdom.  4For that reason, the chief officials and the governors were stirred to seek some pretext against Daniel regarding his governmental affairs. But because he was trustworthy, no one could find any error or fault in him nor could they uncover any negligence or misconduct.”

  • Father, in Jesus’ name, empower entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, professionals, managers, and employees to understand that their work and influence belong to You. Anoint them to lead with wisdom, humility, excellence, courage, and accountability, refusing to compromise their biblical convictions for financial gain, status, influence, or acceptance. Let them recognise the responsibility and influence You have entrusted to them and use it to honour You, serve others, and advance what is righteous and good. In Jesus’ name. Amen.,.

Action item 3: Establish businesses that serve people and contribute to the common good

Jeremiah 29:7 “Work for the good of the city to which I have exiled you. And pray to Yahweh, asking for a blessing on your city since your peace depends on its peace.”

Proverbs 11:10-11 “10The blessing that rests on the righteous releases strength and favor to the entire city, but shouts of joy will be heard when the wicked one dies. 11The blessing of favor resting upon the righteous influences a city to lift it higher, but wicked leaders tear it apart by their words.

1 Timothy 6:17–19 “To all the rich of this world, I command you not to be wrapped in thoughts of pride over your prosperity, or rely on your wealth, for your riches are unreliable and nothing compared to the living God. Trust instead in the one who lavishes upon us all good things, fulfilling our every need. 18Remind the wealthy to be rich in remarkable works of extravagant generosity, willing to share with others 19These spiritual investments will provide a beautiful foundation for their lives and secure for them a great future, as they lay their hands upon the meaning of true life.”

  • Father, in the name of Jesus, empower businesses to become sources of meaningful employment, opportunity, service, innovation, dignity, and flourishing within our communities. Enable business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, managers, and all those with economic influence to recognise their responsibility toward their employees, customers, communities, and the nation as a whole. Give them wisdom to use their resources, skills, influence, and opportunities to create sustainable value and contribute to the common good rather than pursuing self-interest alone. Let businesses operate with integrity, excellence, fairness, compassion, and accountability, becoming instruments through which people are empowered, communities are strengthened, and South Africa prospers, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

  • We declare that integrity, honesty, and righteous standards govern South Africa’s business environment, and dishonest gain is exposed and removed.
  • We declare that truth, fairness, transparency, and justice govern every business transaction and financial practice in South Africa.
