Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from  heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (Primary anchor scripture – national repentance and healing)
Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)
Leviticus 20:7-8 “Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you.” (National holiness and separation unto God)
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (National alignment under God’s Lordship)
Daniel 9:4-5 “And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, ‘O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.’” (Identification repentance for national sin)
Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Consecration and surrender)
Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” (Purity and spiritual preparation before God)

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before embarking on these prayers, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

WEEK 15: KINGDOM CULTURE AND BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

Day 105 (13 September 2026)

Theme: Establishing a Culture Shaped by Truth

Praying for the truth of God’s Word to increasingly shape the values, beliefs, attitudes, decisions, institutions, and cultural expressions of South Africa. Praying that the biblical worldview established within God’s people will move beyond individual lives and families to influence the wider culture of the nation. Asking God to establish righteousness, justice, wisdom, integrity, human dignity, compassion, and truth as increasingly recognised and practiced values throughout society. Praying for a cultural awakening in which what is true is honoured, what is righteous is upheld, what is destructive is confronted, and the people of God courageously embody and advance Kingdom values wherever they have been positioned.

*All scriptures (unless otherwise stated) are from The Passion Translation (TPT)

Action item 1: Establish truth and righteousness as cultural foundations.

Isaiah 33:5-6 “Yahweh is high and lifted up; he dwells on high! He lavished His justice and righteousness on Zion! 6He will be your constant source of stability in changing times, and out of His abundant love He gives you the riches of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Yes, the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure!”

Amos 5:24 “24However, I delight in a land where justice flows like a river and where true righteousness rolls like a steady flowing stream.”

Proverbs 14:34 “A nation is exalted by the righteousness of its people, but sin heaps disgrace upon the land.”

  • Father, in the name of Jesus, let truth, righteousness, justice, integrity, dignity, compassion, and responsibility shape the values, standards, and conduct of South African society. We come against and cancel every assignment of moral confusion, deception, corruption, and the normalisation of practices that contradict Your purposes and Your Word. We decree that what is true, righteous, just, and honourable will be recognised, respected, defended, upheld, and practised as the norm in our society. Let Your Word and Kingdom values become the standard by which individuals, families, institutions, businesses, communities, and leaders conduct themselves. Let righteousness be established, truth be exalted, justice be upheld, and godly values influence every sphere of South African society, in Jesus’ name. Amen

Action item 2: Empower the church to faithfully shape culture

Matthew 5:13-16 “Your lives are like salt among the people. But if you, like salt, become bland, how can your ‘saltiness’ be restored? Flavorless salt is good for nothing and will be thrown out and trampled on by others. 14“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? 15And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. 16So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”

Jeremiah 29:7Work for the good of the city to which I have exiled you. And pray to Yahweh, asking for a blessing on your city since your peace depends on its peace.”

2 Corinthians 5:20 “We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So, we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “turn back to God and be reconciled to Him.”

  • Father, in the name of Jesus, let the Church not withdraw from society or simply react to cultural change, but rise up in unity and walk in the fullness of Your resurrection power. Empower the Church to faithfully engage and influence culture through truth, wisdom, excellence, service, creativity, leadership, and Christ-centred witness. Let believers in every sphere recognise their responsibility to represent Your Kingdom and become agents of transformation wherever You have placed them. Let there be a powerful shift and move of Your Spirit that enables the Church today to walk as the first Church did—bold, united, Spirit-filled, and moving in signs, wonders, miracles, and the power of God, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Action item 3: Establish a national culture that reflects Kingdom values

Isaiah 60:1–3 “Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you!  2Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of His glory appears over you!  3Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.”

Habakkuk 2:14 “Yet the entire earth is being filled with the revelation of the glory of Yahweh, just as waters fill the sea.”

Psalm 67:1-2 “God, keep us near your mercy-fountain and bless us! And when You look down on us, may Your face beam with joy! 2Pause in His presence Send us out all over the world so that everyone everywhere will discover Your ways and know who You are and see Your power to save.”

  • Father, in the name of Jesus, let the values established through families, education, media, the arts, business, leadership, and public discourse increasingly converge into a culture characterised by truth, justice, wisdom, dignity, reconciliation, responsibility, and love. Let South Africa’s cultural identity and direction increasingly reflect righteousness, godly values, and Kingdom principles, becoming a testimony of Your transforming power, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
