365 Day Prayer Shield Over South Africa

What if the Church prayed without ceasing — not for a season, but for a whole year?

We are inviting every believer, every church, and every prayer network to join us in placing a 365-day prayer shield over our nation. One hour at a time. One heart at a time. Together.

When every slot is filled, South Africa will be covered in 24/7 unbroken intercession — crying out for healing, for breakthrough, and for God’s hand to move powerfully across our land.

How it works: Book one or more hourly prayer slots across the full year. When all slots are filled, we achieve continuous, unbroken prayer coverage over the nation. Daily prayer points will be available below the calendar to guide your time with God.

This is your invitation.
This is our moment.
Will you take your place on the wall?

Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Psalm 2: God’s sovereignty over the nations; “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4: Prayers and intercessions for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives.

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before praying every day during your slot, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

Week 03: Standing in the Gap against Destruction and Disaster

As we enter Week 3 of May, we turn our focus toward intercession for South Africa amid the flooding, destructive winds, storms, infrastructure collapse, fear and instability affecting various provinces across the nation. While the overarching emphasis of this month remains the strengthening of the family altar, we recognise that families cannot be separated from the conditions surrounding them.

In this week of prayer, we stand as watchmen over the nation, not in fear, but in faith; contending for mercy, protection, repentance, healing, restoration and divine intervention over South Africa. We lift up affected communities, grieving families, emergency responders, leaders and vulnerable households before the Lord, declaring that God remains our refuge and strong tower in times of trouble.

Recent severe weather conditions, including flooding, snowfall, destructive winds and storm damage, have led to loss of life, displacement and widespread infrastructure damage across multiple provinces. As believers, we respond not with panic, but with prayer, compassion and unwavering trust in God’s sovereignty over the nation.

Day 15 (17 May 2026)

Prayer Points:  Repentance and Humbling Before God

Action item 1: Church repentance for national transgressions

Daniel 9:4–5 “And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, ‘O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.’”

  • Lord, we repent on behalf of our nation for violence, corruption, injustice, bloodshed, broken covenants, and rebellion against Your ways. We confess our sins before You, and we also ask forgiveness as a people group for turning against Your Holy Land and Your people. Have mercy on us as a nation, cleanse us, and wash us with Your blood as we render our hearts to You on this day, in Jesus’ mighty Name. Thank you Jesus, for imparting Your authority to us. We take our position now, restored because of what You did at the cross. And as Your image bearers, with Your authority to subdue the earth. Thank you Lord Jesus, we will speak and it will be established. The spirit realm will clear around us. The atmosphere will shift. The darkness will yield because we are Your government on this planet where You have put us, in our families, in our regions, and in our nation on this planet.

Action item 2: Mercy trumps judgement over our nation

2 Chronicles 7:14 2  “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

  • Father, let mercy triumph over judgment and heal the land of South Africa, as You state in Your Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14. Restore our land. We pray, Father, that You will wash the soil with the blood of the Lamb, cleanse the soil from all bloodshed, demonic frequencies released, and evil altars. We repent of the sins committed that gave legal right and opened demonic portals over our land, and by the words of our repentance and the blood of the Lamb, we ask You to seal the demonic portals. We declare, “Open up, ye ancient gates, and let the King of Glory enter in,” and we release You, Jesus, in us to invade the land through us as Your living gates, for the demonic realm to clear around us in Jesus NAME.

Action item 3: Raise up a praying Church that will stand faithfully in the gap for the nation.

Joel 2:12–13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.”

  • Jesus, awaken Your Bride. Holy Spirit, blow like a torch of fire over the Church. We shout, “Wake up, wake up, arise, the Bridegroom King is coming.” We release Song of Songs over the Church to awaken from her slumber and to enter her rightful position ruling with her bridegroom King.  We call forth all those who are still dead in sin to awaken and arise now, in Jesus’ Name. Jesus, we love You, and we thank You that we can partner with you for the HEALING AND RESTORATION OF SOUTH AFRICA.
