Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (National alignment under God’s Lordship)
Daniel 9:4-5 “And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, ‘O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.’” (Identification repentance for national sin)
Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Consecration and surrender)
Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” (Purity and spiritual preparation before God)

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before embarking on these prayers, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

WEEK 11: THE CHURCH AS GOD’S TRANSFORMING AGENT

Day 75 (14 August 2026)

Theme: The Church as a Discipling Force

National transformation cannot be sustained through isolated acts of influence; it requires the transformation and multiplication of people. Christ commissioned His Church to make disciples of nations—not merely converts. As the Church matures, she must equip believers to live under the government of God and reproduce Kingdom values within families, communities, institutions, and society. A discipled Church becomes a multiplying Church, and a multiplying Church becomes an instrument through which a nation can be transformed

Action item 1: Prayer that the Church will recover the mandate to make disciples.

Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…”

Colossians 1:28 “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

Ephesians 4:11-12 “And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry…”

  • Father restore the discipling mandate to the heart of Your Church. Deliver us from reducing Christianity to church attendance, religious activity, or personal blessing. Remind us that You commissioned us to make disciples who learn to live under the authority and government of Christ. Raise churches that intentionally teach, train, equip, correct, mature, and release believers. Let discipleship become central to the mission of the Church in South Africa. May believers not only know what they believe, but understand how to live out the Kingdom of God in every area of life. Establish a mature Church whose members are equipped for the work of ministry and prepared to carry Kingdom influence beyond the walls of the local congregation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Action item 2: Pray for the multiplication of mature Kingdom people across generations.

2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

Psalm 78:7 “That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.”

Titus 2:3-4 “The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness… 4that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children.”

  • Lord, establish a culture of spiritual multiplication within Your Church. Let what You have deposited in one generation be faithfully transferred to the next. Raise spiritual fathers and mothers who will intentionally disciple those coming behind them. Heal the disconnect between generations and restore the biblical pattern of wisdom being transferred through relationship, instruction, example, and faithful living. May the older generation not merely preserve what they have received, but intentionally prepare others to carry it further. Raise young people who are grounded in truth, secure in their identity, courageous in their faith, and equipped to take their place in God’s purposes for South Africa. Let there be no interruption in the transmission of Kingdom knowledge, wisdom, values, and faith from generation to generation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Action item 3: Pray that discipleship will produce Kingdom influence beyond the Church.

Matthew 13:31-32 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs,…”

Daniel 12:3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Isaiah 27:6 “He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.”

  • Father, let the fruit of discipleship extend beyond our church buildings and into every sphere of South African society. Let mature believers become carriers of Kingdom wisdom wherever You have positioned them. Raise disciples who influence their families, workplaces, schools, businesses, communities, professions, institutions, and places of leadership. Let discipleship produce people who can solve problems, restore relationships, lead with integrity, create opportunities, serve communities, and advance righteousness. Let the seed of the Kingdom planted through faithful discipleship multiply until its influence reaches far beyond the individual. May South Africa experience the fruit of a Church that has learned not only to gather people, but to equip and release them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
