365 Day Prayer Shield Over South Africa

What if the Church prayed without ceasing — not for a season, but for a whole year?

We are inviting every believer, every church, and every prayer network to join us in placing a 365-day prayer shield over our nation. One hour at a time. One heart at a time. Together.

When every slot is filled, South Africa will be covered in 24/7 unbroken intercession — crying out for healing, for breakthrough, and for God’s hand to move powerfully across our land.

How it works: Book one or more hourly prayer slots across the full year. When all slots are filled, we achieve continuous, unbroken prayer coverage over the nation. Daily prayer points will be available below the calendar to guide your time with God.

This is your invitation.
This is our moment.
Will you take your place on the wall?

Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Psalm 2: God’s sovereignty over the nations; “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4: Prayers and intercessions for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives.

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before praying every day during your slot, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

Week 03: Standing in the Gap against Destruction and Disaster

As we enter Week 3 of May, we turn our focus toward intercession for South Africa amid the flooding, destructive winds, storms, infrastructure collapse, fear, and instability affecting various provinces across the nation. While the overarching emphasis of this month remains the strengthening of the family altar, we recognise that families cannot be separated from the conditions surrounding them.

In this week of prayer, we stand as watchmen over the nation, not in fear, but in faith; contending for mercy, protection, repentance, healing, restoration, and divine intervention over South Africa. We bring affected communities, grieving families, emergency responders, leaders, and vulnerable households before the Lord, declaring that God remains our refuge and strong tower in times of trouble.

Recent severe weather conditions, including flooding, snowfall, destructive winds and storm damage, have led to loss of life, displacement, and widespread infrastructure damage across multiple provinces. As believers, we respond not with panic, but with prayer, compassion, and unwavering trust in God’s sovereignty over the nation.

Week 3: Wisdom for Government and National Leadership

Day 20 (21 May 2026)

Theme: For Kings and All in Authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

Prayer Points: Righteous Leaders, Wisdom, and Restoration.

Action item 1: Pray for righteous leaders to lead in wisdom.

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”

  • Jesus, You are the Head. You are the Head of all authority in all existence, in every realm. You are the source of power. You are the source of all that is. You are the Creator. Thank You, Lord, for imparting Your authority to us. We take our position now, restored because of what You did at the cross. And as Your image bearers, with Your authority to subdue the earth. Thank You, Jesus. We will speak, and it will be established. Lord, grant wisdom, integrity, and urgency to national, provincial and municipal leadership. Lord, we pray for wisdom, integrity, humility, and urgency for national, provincial, and municipal leaders throughout South Africa. Raise up leadership marked by righteousness, justice, compassion, and truth. Let the Spirit of the fear of the Lord rest upon our nation. May every person in a position of authority become deeply aware of Your presence, Your holiness, and their accountability before You.

Action item 2:  Pray for restoration of resources.

Proverbs 11:14 “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.”

  • Let resources meant for relief and rebuilding not be lost through corruption or incompetence. We pray for repentance where there has been corruption, injustice, and compromise. Father, we ask for divine encounters, supernatural visitations, and moments of conviction that draw leaders and citizens alike back to You. Let there be awakening, repentance, healing, wisdom, and restoration across the land.

Action item 3: Prayer for restoration of righteous leaders

Isaiah 1:26 “I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.”

  • Raise righteous leaders who will govern with justice, compassion, and truth. Establish men and women of integrity in every sphere of leadership. Remove corruption, dishonesty, and selfish ambition, and let righteousness, accountability, and servant-hearted leadership arise across the nation.
  • May leaders uphold justice and walk in the fear of the Lord. Let truth prevail over deception, peace over division, and wisdom over confusion. SHALOM TO SOUTH AFRICA
