PRAYER WEEK 9: Education & Generational Alignment
Day 60: (30 July 2026)
THEME FOCUS: Protecting Children and Youth from Deception, Violence, Addiction and Immorality – Interceding for God’s divine protection over South Africa’s children and young people, that they would be preserved from every destructive influence and established in truth, purity, wisdom, and the fear of the Lord.
ACTION ITEM 1: Pray for God’s Protection over Children and Youth
(Ask the Lord to surround South Africa’s children and young people with His divine protection, preserving them from violence, exploitation, abuse, addiction, human trafficking, destructive ideologies, and every strategy of the enemy.)
Key Scriptures:
- Psalm 91:1-4 (ESV) He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
- Isaiah 54:13 (ESV) 13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.
- 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (ESV) But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Prayer Point 1
Today we plead the blood of Jesus over all our children. Father, we place every child and young person in South Africa under Your protection. Surround them with Your presence and keep them safe from violence, crime, abuse, exploitation, and every form of danger. Father, let our children be taught by You. Lord, establish peace and security over the lives of South Africa’s children and youth. Let them grow up in safe homes, schools, churches, and communities where they can flourish emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, and socially. In the Name of Jesus.
Scripture: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty… He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge.” — Psalm 91:1–4 (ESV)
Prayer Point 2
Lord, protect children and young people from human trafficking, exploitation, sexual abuse, kidnapping, and every scheme that seeks to steal their innocence, dignity, freedom, and future. Expose hidden networks of exploitation and bring perpetrators to justice. Raise up parents, teachers, pastors, mentors, and leaders who will guide young people in truth, wisdom, and godly character. May the next generation know Your ways and walk in them. In the Name of Jesus.

Father, protect our young people from addiction to drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, and other destructive influences. Give them strength to resist temptation and surround them with healthy relationships and godly role models. Lord, guard the minds and hearts of our children and youth from destructive ideologies, deception, peer pressure, and influences that would lead them away from truth and righteousness. Give them discernment to recognize what is true and good. In the Name of Jesus, we ask.

Father, establish South Africa’s young people in Your truth. Give them a deep love for Your Word and teach them to recognize truth from deception, regardless of the pressure or influence around them. May their thought lives be shaped by Your Word rather than by the values of a broken culture.
