Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Psalm 2: God’s sovereignty over the nations; “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4: Prayers and intercessions for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives.

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before praying every day during your slot, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

PRAYER WEEK FOR FAMILY

Family is the foundation of everything God has established and built. When marriages are healthy and families are strong, communities flourish—and ultimately, so does the nation.

That is why the family is target number one for the enemy to destroy. The values surrounding family have shifted from strong Judeo-Christian principles to worldly norms.

This week, we will focus entirely on family and all that it includes: marriage, parenting, children, family unity, legacy, protection, peace, and declaring opportunities and blessings over families in South Africa.

Scriptural Anchors:

  • Joshua 24:15 (nKJV): “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

  • Colossians 3:13-14 (nKJV): “Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”

DAY 7 (8 May 2026) – PRAYING BLESSING AND PROSPERITY OVER FAMILIES

The blessing of God cannot be limited to financial prosperity alone; it encompasses every aspect of life and all that God is to us. True blessing includes His presence, His peace, His provision, His protection, and His favour.

Today, we anchor our prayers in declarations of wholeness, fruitfulness, joy, and the favour of God. We ask the Lord to establish a protective hedge around our loved ones and to break every cycle of lack and scarcity within our families and across our nation. We speak blessing over our agriculture, our financial systems, and the Church at large.

ACTION ITEM 1: PRAYER FOR GOD’S BLESSING OVER FAMILIES

  • Numbers 6:24-26 (nKJV): “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

  • Psalm 91:1-2 (nKJV): “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’”

  • Proverbs 3:5-6 (nKJV): “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Prayer for God’s Blessing Over Families: Father, in the Name of Jesus, we lift up every family in our nation before You and ask that Your blessing would rest upon them. Let Your presence fill our homes and Your peace rule in our hearts. I thank You for Your care over my personal family; grant us strength to overcome every challenge and let the work of our hands reflect Your glory. We declare that our families are blessed—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

ACTION ITEM 2: PRAYER FOR FAMILY FINANCES

  • 2 Corinthians 9:8 (nKJV): “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

  • Deuteronomy 8:18 (nKJV): “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth…”

  • Philippians 4:19 (nKJV): “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Prayer for Provision: Lord, You are our Provider. We bring every financial need before You and ask for Your provision in every area of lack. Open doors of opportunity, release divine ideas, and create pathways for increase. We ask for wisdom in managing our resources and a spirit of contentment in every season. Teach us to be good stewards—able to manage our finances wisely, reduce debt, and make sound decisions in our daily lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Against Lack and Poverty: Father, we break every cycle of poverty, debt, and financial struggle within our families. We declare that our families will lack nothing. We ask for the grace to walk in financial freedom and the ability to pay off debts. Release new opportunities, increase our income, and lift every financial burden. Remove anxiety and replace it with unity, trust, and rest in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

ACTION ITEM 3: PRAYER FOR FAMILY INCREASE

  • 1 Chronicles 4:10 (nKJV): “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me…’”

  • Psalm 115:14-15 (nKJV): “May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

  • 2 Corinthians 9:10 (nKJV): “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower… supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”

Prayer for Fruitfulness and Increase: Father, Your Word says that we are called to be fruitful and to multiply. We ask that You would bless the work of our hands and cause increase in every area of our lives—our homes, businesses, careers, and ministries. We declare fruitfulness over our families; nothing will be barren or stagnant, but everything will flourish. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer for God’s Favour and Protection: Lord, let Your divine favour rest upon our families. Let favour open doors that no man can shut and bring opportunities we could never create on our own. We also ask for a hedge of protection; guard us from harm and every attack of the enemy. Cover our homes and our finances. We declare that our families are protected, preserved, and covered by Your power. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Declaration of Blessing and Prosperity: We declare that our families are blessed and highly favoured. We will walk in abundance and not lack. We will prosper in all things, even as our souls prosper. Every cycle of scarcity is broken and increase is released over our lives. Our homes will be filled with joy, peace, and provision. Our families will be a testimony of God’s goodness in our nation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
