I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).

Week 04: Restoring Covenant, Unity and Godly Legacy in the Family
May’s theme continues as we focus on: Family—restoring covenant, strengthening unity and building a Godly legacy within the home. God is calling us back to His original design for family to bring healing, unity, overcoming and Kingdom advancement. His blueprint for marriage and family is a divine pattern for fruitfulness, strength and flourishing. As Your Word declares, “one shall chase a thousand, and two shall put ten thousand to flight” Deuteronomy 32:30, reminding us of the power of covenant and unity. As we return to God’s original design, may our families experience His blessing, dominion and divine covering, establishing a Godly legacy for generations to come.
Week 04
Day 29 (30 May 2026)
Family advancing God’s Kingdom together
Action Item 1: Keep an eternal perspective
Colossians 3:2 “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”
- Father, set our hearts and minds on building Your Kingdom above and not focus on earthly distractions. Help our family to seek Your Kingdom, pursue Your will, and honouring You in all we do, in Jesus’ name.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day…”
- Father, strengthen us to fight the good fight and run the race You have set before us with endurance and faith. Empower us to keep the faith and remain steadfast in our love and obedience to You. Guide our family as we live to advance Your Kingdom and receive the crown of righteousness promised by You, our righteous Judge. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus.
Action Item 2: Engage in kingdom mission together.
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
- Father, You have called us to be the light of the world. Let Your Kingdom be advanced through our family as we reflect Your light in our words, actions, and love for others. May our good works point people to You, bringing hope, truth, and encouragement to those around us, and may You receive all glory in Jesus’ name.
Action Item 3: Building and advancing God’s purposes together
Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labour in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.”
- Father, unless You build our home and establish our plans, our labour is in vain according to Psalm 127:1. You are the foundation, builder, and architect of our family. Let every work, decision, and purpose be led by Your wisdom and protected by You, so that together we may advance Your Kingdom and bring glory to Your name, in Jesus’ name.
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
- Father, thank You that we are Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for Your purposes. Reveal the good works You have prepared for our family that we are able to walk in obedience, advancing Your Kingdom for Your glory, in Jesus’ name.
Thanksgiving prayer for Week 4
Abba Father,
We come before You with hearts filled with gratitude for this precious opportunity to lift our families before Your throne. You, our Father, created families to overcome according to Your nature. You created marriage and family as a sacred covenant and a reflection of Your wisdom, love and resurrection power.
With Christ as our Bridegroom and us as His Bride, we stand steadfast knowing that Your Marriage by Design will never fail. Hiding within the covenant of marriage is the ability to overcome and prosper in Christ Jesus. Your Word reminds us that we are more than overcomers through Him who loves us. As one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousand, we thank You that as You covenant with us, overcoming is not merely possible but assured through Your power and faithfulness.
Father, above all, we thank You for the blessing of restoration. Where the enemy has sought to bring destruction, division, and brokenness, You come in as the repairer of the breaches and restorer of covenant paths. Thank You for healing our hearts, restoring unity, and teaching our families to walk in love, forgiveness, and peace. In You, our families are rooted and strengthened.
You are our refuge, our defender, and our protector. With You as our spiritual covering, our families are provided for, guided and strengthened through every season.
Father, You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When You look upon our families, You see generations gone before and generations still to come, and You love for them all. Our inherent ability to impact generations through faith, prayer, and obedience is a powerful legacy; hidden like a seed waiting to grow in season, ensuring a Godly legacy and generational blessings. Thank You for equipping us with what we need before we knew we needed it.
Lord, You have not only enabled our families to be restored but also called us to advance Your Kingdom together. May our homes shine with Your truth and light, and may our lives point others to Christ as we faithfully reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. You truly are an awesome God, and we love You. We give You all the honour and glory.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
