I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

Week 2: Personal & Household Consecration (Praying for the Family),
We continue on the theme for family, this week we are looking at the sub –
theme of personal and household consecration. We are examining our
personal hearts as part of the unity in the family and what we have and are
contributing. The Lord requires righteous families so we can have righteous
communities and nation.
DAY 2
ACTION ITEM 1: GOOD STEWARDSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILTY
Matthew 25: 29 – 30
“29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.
Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And
throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.’”
John 13: 14 – 15
“14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also
should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should
do as I have done for you.”
Philippians 2: 5
“5In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ
Jesus.”
Mark 10: 45
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to
give his life as a ransom for many.”
Focus: How we have used our God given abilities and resources for the
benefit of the family. Who we account to for what the Lord has entrusted us
with.
Direction: Identify how you have used your finances: skills, time, opportunities,
serving your family selflessly. Priorities: your attitude, etc.
Declare a new spiritual order: Jesus as the foundation of our stewardship and
accountability. Serving the family with humility and love. Compassionate and caring
attitude. Repenting and surrendering ourselves to the Lordship of Christ concerning
our resources and being accountable to the Lord.
Spiritual Outcome: Realizing that stewardship and accountability is not only about
resources, but it is also about our lifestyle, how we live, how we treat our families.
Jesus calls us to use His example, use our gifts wisely, serving others with humility,
making time for family, embracing sacrifice and reflect God’s heart within the family.
PRAYER FOR GOOD STEWARSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Father in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we come unto the
throne of grace with humble hearts. We confess Lord that not only have we not been good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to us, but we have failed and
cannot account. We have failed to show the same sacrificial love that Christ has
shown us to our family and nation. We ask Lord to forgive us as we surrender all unto
You, in Jesus Christ name, we pray.
Amen.
ACTION ITEM 2: TITHE OFFERING AND GIVING
Malachi 3: 8
“8Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we
robbing you?’ In tithes and offerings.”
2 Corinthians 4:4
“4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they
cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the
image of God.”
Proverbs 3: 9 – 10
“Honour the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing. and your vats will brim over
with new wine.”
Focus: Are we faithful with our tithes and do we teach our children the biblical
principles of tithing, offering and giving?
Direction: Examine the heart with regard to tithing, offering and giving. Are you
obedient to the Lord’s instruction on tithes? As a family do you tithe individually or
do you tithe together (looking more into the husband and wife, when the Lord says the
two shall become one, are we practicing the principle of oneness in out tithing, giving
and offering)
Declare a new spiritual order: Obedience to the Lord’s principle on tithe,
offering and giving. Children to be taught and encouraged on the principle of tithing.
Spiritual Outcome: Being faithful and obedient in the things of God no matter the
circumstances.
PRAYER FOR TITHE OFFERING AND GIVING
Father in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Your word says in
Matthew 23:23, not only should we tithe, but we should show justice, mercy and be
faithful. Father we repent in that we have hardened our hearts when it comes to
tithing. We have not been faithful and our lack of faithfulness has led to injustice and
lack of mercy. As a result we have neglected to teach our children the Godly
principles of tithing, giving and offering. Deuteronomy 6: 7-8. Our lack of
faithfulness has dishonoured You Lord and shown the lack of worship unto the Lord. Help us Lord to be faithful with our tithes and offerings. Teach us to give cheerfully
and not grudgingly. That our giving be always motivated by love. 2 Corinthians 9: 7-8
and Luke 11: 42. Help us to remember that our dependency is on You and nothing
else, Deuteronomy 14: 22-23. Tithing Lord teaches us to live in the fear of You, and
You promise to give wisdom on those who fear You. We pray that we lay our
treasures in heaven where there are no thieves and moths. Colossians 3: 1-2. We pray
this in Jesus Christ’s name.
Amen.
ACTION ITEM 3: PRESERVING THE UNITY
Ephesians 4: 1 – 4
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the
calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient,
bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the
Spirit through the bond of peace.”
Colossians 3: 12 – 14
“12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe
yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and
patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a
grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all
these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
Ecclesiastes 4: 12
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of
three strands is not quickly broken.”
Focus: To live holy lives. Be kind and patient, make room for others’ faults
and have a forgiving heart.
Direction: Fight for unity within the family,
Repent for: causing strife, pride, lack of love, unforgiveness, holding grudges,
violence; abuse, etc.
Declare a new spiritual order: To show agape love to each other. Christ peace to
rule in our hearts. Be quick to repent and forgive when there is an offense.
Spiritual Outcome: Be diligent in cultivating a culture of peace and agape love in
the family serving one another in love.
PRAYER OF UNITY
Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we surrender the unity of our families to
Your Lordship. We pray for the unity of the Spirit and faith within our immediate
families. Help us to preserve the unity as is seen in God the father, God the Son and
God the Holy Spirit. Help us to teach our children the value of the unity in our family
and preserve it. We ask that You forgive us where we have contributed to the dis-function of the family. That You point out to us where we need to fix the dis –
function and repent, in Jesus Christ name we have prayed.
Amen.
