WEEK 6: ECONOMIC REDEMPTION AND STEWARDSHIP
Day 37 (7 July 2026)
Theme: Repentance for Economic Sin and Corruption: Repenting for corruption, greed, theft, exploitation, waste, and the misuse of resources entrusted to the nation.
Action item 1: Repent for National corruption, theft, fraud, and economic injustice.
Proverbs 11:1 “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.”
- Father, we come before Your Throne of Grace in humility and repentance. We repent for the sins of greed, exploitation, corruption, theft, fraud, and economic injustice that have defiled this land. Forgive us for every form of dishonest gain and the misuse of resources entrusted to this nation. Cleanse South Africa with the precious blood of Jesus and remove every foundation of corruption and injustice. Let Your light expose and uproot every unrighteous economic practice. As it is written in Amos 5:24 “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream.” May righteousness flow through our economy, bringing healing, restoration, and blessing to our nation. In Jesus’ Name.
Action item 2: Repent for the misuse and neglect of national resources.
1 Peter 4:10 “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
- Father, we repent for the misuse, waste, and neglect of the resources You have entrusted to South Africa. Forgive us for poor stewardship, mismanagement, negligence, and lack of accountability. Grant this nation divine wisdom and righteous stewardship over every resource entrusted to us in Jesus’ name we pray.
Action item 3: Declare a restoration of righteous stewardship.
Isaiah 1:26 (NKJV): “I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as at the beginning. afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”
- Father, we declare the restoration of righteous stewardship across South Africa. Let this nation’s resources be administered according to Your will and purposes. Raise up honest, faithful, and God-fearing leaders who will govern with integrity, accountability, and wisdom. We declare that corruption will be replaced by righteousness, waste by stewardship, and greed by generosity. May the resources of this nation be used for the blessing of its people and the fulfillment of Your Kingdom purposes in Jesus’ name.
