Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from  heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (Primary anchor scripture – national repentance and healing)
Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)
Leviticus 20:7-8 “Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you.” (National holiness and separation unto God)
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (National alignment under God’s Lordship)
Daniel 9:4-5 “And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, ‘O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.’” (Identification repentance for national sin)
Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Consecration and surrender)
Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” (Purity and spiritual preparation before God)

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before embarking on these prayers, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

WEEK 12: KINGDOM LEADERSHIP AND INFLUENCE IN EVERY SPHERE

Day 83 (22 August 2026)

Theme: Equipping and Releasing Kingdom Leaders

God does not merely call leaders; He prepares, equips, develops, and releases them into their assignments. The Church has a responsibility to recognise the leadership potential within the people God has entrusted to her and intentionally cultivate it. Kingdom leadership must therefore become reproducible. Mature leaders must equip others, emerging leaders must be given opportunity, and those prepared by God must eventually be released to influence beyond the walls of the Church.

Action item 1: Pray that the Church will recognise and intentionally develop emerging Kingdom leaders.

Ephesians 4:11–12 “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

  • Father, give Your Church eyes to recognise the leaders You have already placed among us. Help us to see potential before position, calling before title, and character before visibility. Deliver the Church from waiting for leaders to emerge without intentional development. Establish cultures of mentoring, training, discipleship, accountability, and practical opportunity. Give mature leaders the grace to invest in those coming behind them. Let knowledge be transferred, wisdom be shared, and experience become a resource for developing the next generation. Raise churches that do not merely gather people, but prepare people. May those whom You have called be equipped to fulfil their assignments with maturity, competence, and faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Action item 2: Pray that emerging leaders will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual maturity required for their assignments.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

Proverbs 1:5 “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.”

Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

  • Lord, develop the leaders You are raising in South Africa. Give them more than enthusiasm for leadership; give them the substance required to carry responsibility well. Establish them in Your Word and develop their wisdom, understanding, emotional maturity, practical skills, relational capacity, and ability to make sound decisions. Teach them to remain teachable. Let them value correction, seek wise counsel, learn from experience, and continually grow in wisdom and competence. May spiritual maturity and practical excellence develop together. Raise leaders who are prepared not only to occupy positions, but to solve problems, steward responsibility, develop people, and faithfully fulfil their assignments. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Action item 3: Pray that prepared Kingdom leaders will be courageously released into their spheres of influence.

Matthew 9:37–38 “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

Acts 13:2–3 “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.”

Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

  • Father, release the leaders You have prepared. Where fear, insecurity, lack of opportunity, or excessive dependence on familiar environments has prevented Your people from stepping into their assignments, give them courage to go. Let the Church become a sending community. Teach us not to hold people indefinitely within our structures when You have prepared them to serve beyond them. As Barnabas and Saul were recognised, prayed over, and sent into their assignment, let the Church in South Africa learn to discern when people are ready to be released. Send Kingdom leaders into government, business, education, law, media, healthcare, the arts, communities, families, and every sphere where their influence is required. May those who have been prepared arise with courage, knowing that the God who called them will accompany them. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
