Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Psalm 2: God’s sovereignty over the nations; “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4: Prayers and intercessions for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives.

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before praying every day during your slot, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

Week 2: Personal & Household Consecration (Praying for the Family),
We continue on the theme for family, this week we are looking at the sub –
theme of personal and household consecration. We are examining our
personal hearts as part of the unity in the family and what we have and are
contributing. The Lord requires righteous families so we can have righteous
communities and nation.

DAY 3
ACTION ITEM 1: GOOD COMMUNICATION AND UNDERSTANDING

James 1: 19 – 20
“19My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick
to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human
anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”

Proverbs 15: 1 – 2
“1A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. 2The
tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.”

Ecclesiastes 7: 9
“Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.”

Proverbs 10: 18 – 21
“18Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spreads slander is a fool.
19 Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.
20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is
of little value. 21 The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack
of sense.”

Focus: To cultivate the culture of peace in the home. Creating a safe
environment where everyone can express themselves.

Direction: Learn the art of listening without interrupting, repent from being
defensive rather than hearing the heart of the person, learning to be empathetic.
Validating every person in a Godly manner.

Declare a new spiritual order: Identify fights that are worth fighting for in a
Godly manner that considers others’ feelings. Identify the spirit behind the argument.
Be quick to repent.

Spiritual Outcome: Be quick to listen and slow to respond. Developing an art of
hearing the heart of the person

PRAYER ON COMMUNICATION

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we ask that you teach us to listen well
and speak in love. We ask for forgiveness where we have caused strife and tension for
our failure to listen. We pray that You help us to understand one another hearts and be
patient with each other when we are frustrated, in Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen

ACTION ITEM 2: FAMILY MEMBERS RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Acts 16: 31- 32
“31They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and
your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all
the others in his house.”

Acts 11: 14
“ 14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your
household will be saved.”

Ephesians 2: 8- 10
“8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can
boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good
works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

2 Timothy 1: 9
“9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we
have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given
us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.”

Focus: Salvation for each member of the family.

Direction: Repentance of the ungodly lifestyle. To bring back family members who
have moved away from the faith and have backslidden. To invite the Holy Spirit to
search our hearts as to where have we contributed to family members moving away
from the faith.

Declare a new spiritual order: Living a lifestyle that is reflective of God’s word
and principles. Not partaking in family rituals that do not honour God.
Spiritual Outcome: Total surrender to God.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION IN THE FAMILY

Heavenly Father in the might name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I ask for forgiveness
for failure to witness about You in my family. Matthew 28: 18-20 requires that we
make disciples, and this commissioning starts in the home. I repent Lord for not
acting in accordance to Your word for those who are in my household. Lord I pray
that every member of my household will come to know You personally. Soften their
hearts and draw them near Jesus. I pray that our home be a home of faith and growth
in Jesus Christ name, we have prayed. Amen.

ACTION ITEM 3: HEALING FROM OFFENSE AND EMOTIONAL WOUNDS

Matthew 18:21-22
“Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me,
and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to
seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Ephesians 4:31-32
“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you,
with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another,
even as God in Christ forgave you.”

Psalm 147:3
“He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.”

Colossians 3:13
“Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint
against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.”

Focus: Healing from past hurts, offenses, and emotional wounds within the family.

Direction:
Identify unresolved pain, bitterness, and offense.
Choose forgiveness as an act of obedience, not emotion.
Invite the Holy Spirit to heal emotional wounds.

Declare a new spiritual order:
Healing, forgiveness, and restoration replace bitterness and pain.
Spiritual Outcome:
Emotional freedom and restored relationships within the family.

Prayer for HEALING FROM OFFENSE AND EMOTIONAL WOUNDS:

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with
humble hearts, acknowledging that we have held onto offense, bitterness, and
unforgiveness. Your Word in Colossians 3:13 and Ephesians 4:31–32 calls us to
forgive as You have forgiven us and to put away all anger, malice, and resentment.
Lord, we repent for every place where pain has taken root in us. Today, by an act of
our will, we choose to forgive those who have hurt us; again and again, as You have
taught in Matthew 18:21–22. We release every offense, cancel every debt, and
surrender every wound into Your hands. Father, Your Word says in Psalm 147:3 that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up
their wounds. We invite You now to heal every place of pain within us—every hurt,
rejection, and disappointment. Restore our hearts, renew our minds, and fill us with
Your peace and compassion. We declare that bitterness will not rule us, and past
wounds will not define us. From this day forward, we walk in forgiveness, healing,
and freedom. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
