365 Day Prayer Shield Over South Africa

What if the Church prayed without ceasing — not for a season, but for a whole year?

We are inviting every believer, every church, and every prayer network to join us in placing a 365-day prayer shield over our nation. One hour at a time. One heart at a time. Together.

When every slot is filled, South Africa will be covered in 24/7 unbroken intercession — crying out for healing, for breakthrough, and for God’s hand to move powerfully across our land.

How it works: Book one or more hourly prayer slots across the full year. When all slots are filled, we achieve continuous, unbroken prayer coverage over the nation. Daily prayer points will be available below the calendar to guide your time with God.

This is your invitation.
This is our moment.
Will you take your place on the wall?

Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Psalm 2: God’s sovereignty over the nations; “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4: Prayers and intercessions for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives.

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before praying every day during your slot, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

Week 03: Standing in the Gap against Destruction and Disaster

As we enter Week 3 of May, we turn our focus toward intercession for South Africa amid the flooding, destructive winds, storms, infrastructure collapse, fear and instability affecting various provinces across the nation. While the overarching emphasis of this month remains the strengthening of the family altar, we recognise that families cannot be separated from the conditions surrounding them.

In this week of prayer, we stand as watchmen over the nation, not in fear, but in faith; contending for mercy, protection, repentance, healing, restoration and divine intervention over South Africa. We lift up affected communities, grieving families, emergency responders, leaders and vulnerable households before the Lord, declaring that God remains our refuge and strong tower in times of trouble.

Recent severe weather conditions, including flooding, snowfall, destructive winds and storm damage, have led to loss of life, displacement and widespread infrastructure damage across multiple provinces. As believers, we respond not with panic, but with prayer, compassion and unwavering trust in God’s sovereignty over the nation.

Day 17 (18 May 2026)

Theme: Peace, Be Still (Mark 4:39)

Prayer Points:  Protection Against Floods, Storms and Natural Disasters

Action item 1: Commanding the storm to be still.

Mark 4:39 “Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”

  • Father, You are the Creator. We thank You for the completed work of the cross. Jesus, You are the Head of all authority in existence, in every realm, the source of power. Thank you, Jesus, that as Your Body, we can stand against the spirit of devastation, destruction and death the devil wanted to lose over our nation through the floods, storms, and extreme weather. We speak to the earth and we say, “Peace, be still, storm come into alignment with the Word of the Lord”. Thank you Jesus, that as we speak, You establish Your Word. We speak Shalom, peace and restoration over our nation and our land in the mighty name of Jesus’.

Action item 2:  God as our tower of refuge and strength.

Psalm 46:1–3 “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2Therefore, we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, 3Though the mountains shake with its swelling.”

  • Father, protect, preserve and provide for our vulnerable communities, informal settlements, and struggling families. Keep them from every form of harm. Father, we decree Psalm 46:1-3 over our nation. You are our tower of refuge and strength. Shield Your children from the harm caused by the loss of housing, livelihood, and crops. Protect and provide for the elderly, homeless, children and livestock. Heal and restore our farmland, crops and food resources in the mighty name of Jesus.

Action item 3: Wisdom to make all things work together for good.

Nahum 1:7 “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”

  • Father, we pray that You will release wisdom and strategy to disaster-response teams, rescue workers and local authorities. We thank You that communities will experience Your deliverance through signs and wonders. Let the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit move powerfully to restore and rebuild what has been destroyed in Jesus’ name. Restore what has been damaged. Replace what has been lost. May Your goodness and mercy draw unbelievers as they witness Your goodness and salvation. Holy Spirit come blow over our nation as we pray Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And we ask for this in the might name of Jesus.
