We are inviting every believer, every church, and every prayer network to join us in placing a 365-day prayer shield over our nation. One hour at a time. One heart at a time. Together.

Week 04: Restoring Covenant, Unity and Godly Legacy in the Family

May’s theme continues as we focus on: Family—restoring covenant, strengthening unity and building a Godly legacy within the home.

God is calling us back to His original design for family to bring healing, unity, overcoming and Kingdom advancement. His blueprint for marriage and family is a divine pattern for fruitfulness, strength and flourishing. As Your Word declares, “one shall chase a thousand, and two shall put ten thousand to flight” Deuteronomy 32:30, reminding us of the power of covenant and unity.

As we return to God’s original design, may our families experience His blessing, dominion and divine covering, establishing a Godly legacy for generations to come.

Week 04: God’s blueprint for marriage is infallible, enabling families to overcome, prosper and advance His kingdom.

Day 25 (26 May 2026)

Repairing the Breach and Restoring Covenant Paths

Action Item 1: Identifying and repairing the breach

Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart, Try me and know my anxieties; 24And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

  • Lord God, search my heart according to Psalm 139:23-24 and know my thoughts. Reveal any wicked or offensive ways in me and within our family. Where I have strayed from Your word or sin has created a separation from You, bring it into Your light. Father, I repent of any breach in my relationship with You. Forgive me and teach me to restore Your covenant paths. Align my heart and home with Your word. Lead me in Your everlasting path that I may walk faithfully in covenant with You, rooted in Your truth and righteousness. I pray this in the name of Jesus’. Amen

Job 5:8 “But as for me, I would seek God, and to God I would commit my cause”

  • Father, as I journey on this path with You, teach me to seek You in every area not aligned with Your word. I turn to You and lay every burden and broken place before You. Forgive me for trying in my own strength. I commit every cause for myself, my family and unresolved matter into Your hands according to Job 5:8. Restore the breaches, heal, restore and cause relationships to come in alignment with Your word, bring clarity, direction and closure in unresolved matters. Lead us and establish our hearts according to Your Word we pray in Jesus’ name Amen.

Action Item 2: Forgiveness and healing of relationships

Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

  • Father, according to Ephesians 4:31-32, remove all bitterness, anger, resentment and harshness that hinders my relationships with You and others. Search my hearts and bring to light any areas where hurt, offense or unforgiveness has created a breach within my family. Lord, I repent for holding onto past hurts or not responding in Your love and truth. Teach me to forgive others that I may be forgiven by You.

Psalm 147:3 “He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.”

  • Father, we ask You according to Psalm 147:3 to come heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds. Restore unity and bring peace where division has entered. Let kindness, compassion and mercy govern my words and actions, that my relationships may reflect Your love and covenant faithfulness. Unite my family in Your peace and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Action Item 3: Restoring covenant paths and generational foundations

Joel 2:25 ““So I will restore to you the years…”

  • Father, You promise to restore what has been lost according to Joel 2:25, Where time, relationships or opportunities have been damaged through sin, hardship or brokenness, we ask You to bring restoration. Redeem the barren and wasted places in our lives and restore what has been weakened or delayed. Renew our hope, rebuild our foundations and lead us forward in Your covenant purposes. Let Your restoring grace bring healing, fruitfulness and renewed strength for generations to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Isaiah 58:12 “…Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to dwell in.”

  • Father, according to Isaiah 58:12, You call us to rebuild the old waste places and raise up the foundations of many generations. Repair every broken place and restore the covenant paths that lead to righteousness, peace and faithfulness. Rebuild our family upon Your Word and establish a godly legacy for generations to come. May our lives reflect Your restoring grace as repairers of the breach and restorers of paths to dwell in. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 ““And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

  • Father, write Your Word upon our hearts and teach us to pass Your truth to our children and generations to come according to Deuteronomy 6:6-7. Establish our home on Your foundations, that Your Word may guide our conversations, decisions and daily lives. Let our family walk in covenant faithfulness and leave a godly legacy that brings honour to Your name. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
