365 Day Prayer Shield Over South Africa

What if the Church prayed without ceasing — not for a season, but for a whole year?

We are inviting every believer, every church, and every prayer network to join us in placing a 365-day prayer shield over our nation. One hour at a time. One heart at a time. Together.

When every slot is filled, South Africa will be covered in 24/7 unbroken intercession — crying out for healing, for breakthrough, and for God’s hand to move powerfully across our land.

How it works: Book one or more hourly prayer slots across the full year. When all slots are filled, we achieve continuous, unbroken prayer coverage over the nation. Daily prayer points will be available below the calendar to guide your time with God.

This is your invitation.
This is our moment.

Scriptural Anchors during these 365 Days of Prayer

Psalm 2: God’s sovereignty over the nations; “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4: Prayers and intercessions for all people, especially those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and godly lives.

Personal Prophetic Declarations to Pray every day.

NB: Before praying every day during your slot, pronounce these declarations which establish:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life (authority and alignment)
  • Justification and covering (blood and righteousness)
  • Protection (Isaiah 54:17 principle)
  • Consecration and separation (holiness and spiritual boundaries)

I declare that my life and all that concerns me is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 14:8; Colossians 1:16–18).
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:24; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
I declare that no weapon formed against me or all that concerns me shall prosper because of these intercessory prayers, in Jesus’ Name (Isaiah 54:17).
I separate myself from all ungodly soul ties, monitoring spirits, and familiar spirits, in the Name of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 2:15). Amen.

PRAYER WEEK FOR FAMILY

Family is the foundation of everything God has established and built. When marriages are healthy and families are strong, communities flourish—and ultimately, so does the nation.

That is why the family is target number one for the enemy to destroy. The values surrounding family have shifted from strong Judeo-Christian principles to worldly norms.

This week, we will focus entirely on family and all that it includes: marriage, parenting, children, family unity, legacy, protection, peace, and declaring opportunities and blessings over families in South Africa.

Scriptural Anchors:

  • Joshua 24:15 (nKJV): “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

  • Colossians 3:13-14 (nKJV): “Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”

DAY 6 (7 May 2026): PRAYING FOR HEALING IN FAMILIES

The destruction of families is one of the primary targets of the enemy. Family is God’s idea and serves as the foundation of His design for humanity. Therefore, when families are broken, they need the healing power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Praying for healing in families involves seeking divine intervention in every area—physical illness, emotional pain, and broken relationships. We trust Him to create homes filled with peace, love, and unity.

ACTION ITEM 1: PRAYING FOR PHYSICAL HEALING

  • Psalm 103:2-4 (nKJV): “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction…”

  • 1 Peter 2:24 (nKJV): “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

  • Exodus 15:26 (nKJV): “…For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Prayer for Physical Healing: Lord, we believe that You are Jehovah Rapha—the One who heals us. We lift up every area of physical illness within our families. We command every spirit of infirmity to leave in the Name of Jesus. Grant us wisdom and discipline to walk in health. Where there has been physical injury, we ask for supernatural, restorative healing. We also ask for provision where there is lack; open doors of opportunity and establish stability within our homes. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Declaration of Healing Over Families in South Africa: We declare today that families across South Africa will experience the healing anointing of God in a fresh and powerful way. We proclaim that they are healed, restored, and made whole. We pray for families who have been affected financially because of illness—let restoration and provision come to them. Our homes will no longer be places of pain, but places of peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

ACTION ITEM 2: PRAYING FOR EMOTIONAL HEALING

  • Psalm 147:3 (nKJV): “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

  • Psalm 34:18 (nKJV): “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.”

  • Philippians 4:6-7 (nKJV): “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and minds…”

Prayer for Healing of Broken Hearts: Father, in the Name of Jesus, we bring every broken heart within our families before You. Touch every place of pain, disappointment, rejection, and loss. Heal wounds that words cannot express and restore joy where sorrow has taken root. We declare that no hurt will define our families. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer for Healing from Past Trauma: Lord, we lift up every hidden wound and past trauma within our families. You see the silent struggles and the scars left behind. Bring healing to every painful memory. Break the hold of trauma, fear, and emotional bondage. We declare that our past will not control our future. By the power of Jesus, we are set free. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

ACTION ITEM 3: PRAYING FOR FAMILY RESTORATION

  • Joel 2:25-26 (nKJV): “So, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God…”

  • Malachi 4:6 (nKJV): “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers…”

  • Isaiah 61:3 (nKJV): “To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…”

Prayer for Restoration of Relationships: Father, we bring every broken and strained relationship in our families before You. Where there is pain, heal the layers of infection that have caused resentment. Teach us to forgive, to communicate with love, and to rebuild trust. Soften hardened hearts and remove every barrier that keeps us apart. We declare reconciliation over our families. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer for Peace in the Home: Father, we invite Your peace into our homes. Let Your presence fill every room. Where there has been tension or conflict, bring calm and unity. Remove anxiety, anger, and fear, and replace them with Your perfect peace. We declare that our homes will be places of refuge, safety, and the presence of God. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
