Joel 2:12-13 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Consecration through heartfelt repentance and returning to God)

WEEK 14: KINGDOM FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES
Day 93 (1 September 2026)
Theme: Generational Formation
Action item 1: Restore intentional faith formation within the home
Romans 10:17 “…Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (NKJV)
Deuteronomy 6:6–9 “6And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up 8You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (NKJV)
Psalm 78:4, 6–7 “We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. 6That the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born,
that they may arise and declare them to their children, 7That they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments” (NKJV)
2 Timothy 1:5 “when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also” (NKJV)
- Father, Hebrews 11:6 declares without faith it is impossible to please You. Let the genuine faith that dwelt in previous generation be revived and stirred up in our spirits and in our generation. As Your word is taught, let our faith grow as we teach our children and speak of You when they sit at home, are out walking, when they lie down, and when they rise up. Restore to our families the joy and responsibility of raising the next generation in Your ways. Give parents the grace to teach and live out faith in the everyday moments of family life. Let parents and grandparents intentionally pass on a genuine faith that our children can see, receive, and carry into their own generation. Let no generation forget Your goodness or Your works. May our children know You, love You, trust You, and walk faithfully in Your purposes. Establish a visible legacy of faith from one generation to the next. We pray in the name of Jesus.
Action item 2: Raise a generation formed in Godly character and identity
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Psalm 1:1–3 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. 3He shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
- Father, as we train our children in the way of the Lord, establish Your Word and truth within them, that when they are old they will not depart from it. Grant us as parents the wisdom as we guide them through their trials. Thank you that our children will not be despised because of their youth, but they will be an example to all in word, conduct, spirit, love, faith and purity. Prosper our children as they delight in the law of the Lord and meditate in it day and night. They will bring forth fruit in it season, their leaves do not wither and all they do prospers. Form their character and identity according to Your truth. Give them courage to stand for what is right, discipline to walk in Your ways, integrity in their actions, and a deep reverence for You. Guard their hearts from destructive influences, confusion, hopelessness, and pressures that pull them away from Your purposes. May they be examples in their words, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Father, give Your angels charge over our children, guard them in all their ways, and keep them safe from every harm, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Action item 3: Restore the covenantal transfer of God’s purposes between generations
Psalm 145:4 “One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.”
Joel 1:3 “Tell your children about it, let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.”
2 Timonthy 2:2 “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
- Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You restore the godly connection between generations. Give parents, grandparents, elders, and spiritual fathers and mothers grace to intentionally pour out their faith, wisdom, testimony, values, and knowledge into the next generation. May what You have entrusted to us be faithfully passed on, so that one generation will declare Your mighty works to the next, and Your purposes will continue from generation to generation.
