WEEK 5: JUSTICE AND THE RULE OF LAW
Day 35 (5 July 2026)
Theme: Vindication and Establishment of Righteous Justice: God’s final righteous verdict and establishment of justice in the land.
Action item 1: Declare vindication over the innocent and wrongly accused in South Africa.
Psalm 35:23-24 “Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me, my God and Lord. 24 Vindicate me in your righteousness, O Lord my God, do not let them gloat over me.”
Daniel 7:10 “A river of fire was flowing coming out from before Him. Thousands upon thousands attended Him. The court was seated, and books were opened.”
Proverbs 21:3 “To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.”
- Father for all those who have been wrongly accused, we declare Luke 8: 17 upon them. We declare that the hiding of the truth will be revealed and what is kept in secret will come to light in Jesus Christ name. We declare that as the Ancient of Days sits as a Judge over this nation, a favourable judgement will be meted out as to put our judiciary in order and vindicate the wrongly accused (Acts 16:25-26) in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Action item 2: Pray for God’s righteous verdicts to override unjust rulings.
Deuteronomy 1:16-17 “And I charged your judges at the time: Hear the disputes between your brothers and judge fairly, whether the case is between brother Israelite’s or between one of them and an alien. 17 Do not show partiality in judging, hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of any man, for judgement belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you and I will hear it.”
Proverbs 25:23 “These also are the sayings of the wise: to show partiality in judging is not good.”
James 2:1 and 9 “1. My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. 9. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law of lawbreakers.”
- Lord Jesus we are praying for God’s righteous verdicts over unjust rulings. We bring before the throne of grace, the police who investigate, the prosecutors and attorneys who handle the cases, that from the inception of the case justice, truth and righteousness prevail. With the favourable judgement from the Courts of Heaven, we pray that the unjust rulings be exposed and overturned and retribution be meted for those who have been corrupt and unjust, we pray in the name of Jesus.
Action item 3: Seal Week 5 by declaring justice as permanent foundation in the nation.
Isaiah 61:8 “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them.”
Zephaniah 3:5 “The Lord within her is righteous, He does no wrong. Morning by morning He dispenses His justice, and every new day He does not fail, yet the unrighteous know no shame.”
John 5:30 “By myself I can do nothing, I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just, for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent me.”
- Declaration of Justice as a permanent foundation for the nation: Father in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we are sealing these prayers made for the judiciary system on Psalm 103:6 “The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.” We declare and decree that with the Lord nothing is impossible, justice and righteousness will be maintained in Jesus Christ’s name. It will be a permanent foundation for this nation. We decree that justice and rule of law will and is advanced at the establishment of the will of God. We declare the gates in the judiciary are open for the King of Glory to come and reign in our judiciary in Jesus Christ’s name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- “We declare Psalm 29:10 that the Lord is King over not only the nation, but over its judicial system, He brings peace over chaos and corruption and the rule of law.”
- “The Lord is the Sovereign Lord and Judge over this nation”
- The corrupt seed, and evil altars erected speaking over the judiciary, have been silenced and will no longer have power and authority as justice and righteousness are prevailing.”
- “We declare that the Lord will reign and be a firm foundation for the justice system.”
- “Every evil and ungodly covenant and altars erected are destroyed in Jesus Christ’s name.”
- “Righteousness and justice will prevail in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ.”
- “Every agreement made with hell to cripple our justice system is dismantled and annulled in Jesus Christ’s name.”
Closing Prayer for Week 5: Justice and the Rule of Law
Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we give You all glory, honour and adoration Lord, this week Lord as we prayed for our justice system and the rule of law to prevail from the throne of Grace, we thank You that You are faithful Lord to hear us from heaven. We declare Isaiah 59:1 “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear.” You are the Lord who redeems and who is eternal. Nothing is impossible with You Lord.
Father, we know and believe that no matter how deep the seed of corruption in our judiciary is, You are able to redeem our judiciary system and the rule of law to what You have intended it to be in this nation. We renounce all ungodly soul ties in our judiciary and release Your fire to burn all the works of darkness. Let the fire of Your presence be found in the corridors of our judicial system.
Lord release Your glorious power against Your enemies, scatter and cause confusion in the camp of Your enemies. We pray that the power of Your anger be released against the corrupt in Jesus Christ’s name.
We declare 2 Corinthians 2:9 “However, as it is written: ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.” We thank You Lord that Your word says, He who has begun good work will bring it to completion. As Your word is exulted above Yourself and Lord, You follow it, we are in awe of what You are and has begun doing in our judiciary. Father there is hope as we stand in faith that the corridors of our judicial system are being swept of the powers of darkness as the righteous are taking their position. We thank You that Your light shines at this gate as it exposes the darkness, as nothing is hidden from You Lord.
We decree:
Your kingdom come, Your will be done in our judicial system.
Your kingdom and governance will increase in our judicial system.
The kingdom of darkness has been overthrown, and the scepter has been given the righteous of the Lord.
We ask that You display Your awesome power Lord and let Your power work, to Your glory in Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
