When every slot is filled, South Africa will be covered in 24/7 unbroken intercession — crying out for healing, for breakthrough, and for God’s hand to move powerfully across our land.

WEEK 18: SOUTH AFRICA A BLESSING TO AFRICA
Day 120 (28 September 2026)
Theme: Blessed to Become a Blessing
Praying for South Africa to recognise that God’s restoration, resources, influence, opportunities, and spiritual inheritance are not intended for the nation to consume for itself, but to be stewarded for the blessing of others. As the nation is restored and discipled, may a Kingdom posture of generosity, service, responsibility, and stewardship replace self-interest and isolation. Pray that South Africa would embrace its place within Africa with humility, recognising that what God entrusts to a people carries a responsibility to bless beyond themselves.
Action item 1: Pray for South Africa to recognise its blessing as a kingdom stewardship.
Genesis 12:2-3 “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
1 Peter 4:10 “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Luke 12:48 “But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”
- Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray that You awaken South Africa to the responsibility attached to what You have entrusted to this nation. Teach us to see our resources, influence, knowledge, opportunities, institutions, and spiritual inheritance as gifts to be faithfully stewarded. Deliver the nation from entitlement, self-preservation, and selfish accumulation. Establish a people who understand that being blessed by God carries the responsibility of becoming a blessing to others; in Jesus’ name, Amen
Action item 2: Pray for a Kingdom culture of generosity, service and contribution to be established.
Acts 20:35 “And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.”
Philippians 2:3-4 “[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”
2 Corinthians 9:8-11 “8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.”
- Father, we pray that You establish within South Africa a culture of generosity and servant-hearted contribution. Transform the way individuals, churches, businesses, institutions, and leaders understand prosperity and influence. May what has been entrusted to us become a source of strength to others. Raise people and institutions that willingly share knowledge, resources, skills, opportunities, and capacity for the good of others and the advancement of Your purposes. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Action item 3: Embrace its responsibility within the African context.
Romans 12:10-13 “10 [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.”
Philippians 2:1-4 “1 If [there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind. 3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”

- Father God, give South Africa a right posture toward the nations of Africa. Remove superiority, exploitation, isolation, prejudice, and self-interest from our relationships with our neighbours. Give us humility to recognise and honour the gifts, strengths, cultures, resources, and assignments You have placed within other African nations. Teach South Africa to walk in partnership and service, becoming a genuine channel through which Your goodness and blessing can flow across the continent. We pray in Jesus Christ’s name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- We declare that as a nation we recognise that what the Lord has entrusted us with, the land and resources we must steward it well to the benefit of the continent of Africa.
- We declare that we are entrusted to do business in the continent of Africa until the Lord returns. (Luke 19:13)
- We declare that we are not owners of the resources we have but merely caretakers and that we will account how we steward them.
- We declare that we recognise that as a nation we have the revelation that we were blessed to be a blessing to other nations, to not turn our blessing to a curse.
- We declare 1 Timothy 6:20 that we guard what has been entrusted to our care and turn away from godless chatter and false knowledge.
- We declare that we maybe hospitable, generous and be of service to other nations. (Genesis 18:1-8)
- We declare that as a nation we reflect God’s unfailing love, kindness and compassion and when we say we love the Lord reflect His attributes of love. (John 3:16–17)
