Week 2: Spiritual Growth, Church Unity, and National Alignment with God’s Kingdom Purposes – including the restoration of South Africa’s relationship with Israel

Day 1: Church Unity, Realignment, and Blessing Israel

Action Item 1: Church Unity, Realignment, and Blessing Israel

  1. Pray for healing and unity in the Body of Christ in South Africa.
  • Father, we repent for the sins of Your Church in South Africa – where we have been silent, divided, or failed to reflect Your love and justice. Lord, we ask that You realign Your Church in our nation to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Let every agenda, tradition, or ambition that is not from You be uprooted, and let Your kingdom mandate be restored in our hearts and ministries; as Your word commands us in Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
  • Father, we pray for unity in the Church in South Africa. According to John 17:21, let us be one as You, Father, are in the Son and the Son is in You. We come against every demonic agenda that brings division and strife, and we declare that the spirit sent to steal the blessing of this nation is rendered powerless in Jesus’ name; according to John 17:21 “…That all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I in You.”
  • God, we pray for spiritual leaders across South Africa. Grant them humility, wisdom, and courage to lead in unity and obedience to Your Spirit. May they make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace, as Your Word commands according to Ephesians 4:3 “Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.”
  1. Restoration of South Africa’s Relationship with Israel
  • Father, we intercede for the restoration and strengthening of South Africa’s diplomatic, economic, and spiritual ties with Israel. We declare that South Africa will be a nation that blesses Israel and receives Your blessing in return in accordance to Genesis 12:3“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
  • Lord, we repent for every word, action, or policy that has brought division or dishonour toward Israel. Forgive us, and have mercy on our nation. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Your favour to rest upon both nations according to Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.’”
  • We declare that South Africa will stand in alignment with Your covenant promises to Israel. Let every curse be broken, and let Your blessing flow as we honour Your Word in Jesus’ name. Numbers 24:9 “Blessed is everyone who blesses you, and cursed is everyone who curses you.”
