Day 6: Spiritual Warfare at the Gates

Action Item 1: Take authority over spiritual gates – media, education, economy, government, and family.

Prayer Points

• In the name of Jesus, we take authority over the gates of South Africa – media, education, economy, government, and family – and declare they belong to the Lord according to Psalm 24:7 – “Lift up your heads, O you gates… that the King of glory may come in.”
• We bind every spirit of darkness seeking to influence these gates and release the light and truth of Christ over every sphere according to Matthew 16:18-19 – “…on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven…”
• Let righteous gatekeepers arise to watch, pray, and legislate God’s purposes for the nation in the order of Isaiah 62:6 – “I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night…”

Action Item 2: Pray for the removal of demonic influences and the release of God’s presence.

Prayer Points

• Lord, expose and remove every demonic influence, stronghold, and agenda operating at the gates of South Africa in accordance to Ephesians 6:12 – “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against… the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
• Break every curse, spell, and ungodly covenant that has given the enemy access to our land in accordance to Galatians 3:13 – “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us…”
• Release Your angels to guard and protect the gates of our nation in accordance to Psalm 91:11 – “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Action Item 3: Declare that the gates of South Africa are open to the King of Glory (Psalm 24:7).

Prayer Points

• We declare that the gates of South Africa are open to the King of Glory; let Your presence fill every city, community, and institution according to Psalm 24:9-10 – “Lift up your heads, O you gates… that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord Almighty—He is the King of glory.”
• Let revival, healing, and transformation flow through every gate as Your Spirit moves across our land according to Isaiah 60:18 – “…you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.”
• May South Africa become a dwelling place for Your glory, and a light to the nations in accordance to Habakkuk 2:14 – “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
