Day 22 (22 Feb): “Divine Mercy, Protection and Wisdom for National Preservation
Action item 1: Prayer for Mercy and Healing over the Land
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Father, we pray that Your Church in South Africa rise as leaders in truth, righteousness, and justice. Equip us with wisdom, courage, and discernment to influence every sphere of society according to Your Word. Let Your people carry Your presence wherever they go and be Your hands and feet in governance, economy, and community.
- Father, we humble ourselves before You and ask for mercy over our nation. Let Your healing power move across our land, our farms, and our livestock. Where there is disease, release healing and restoration. Heal the land and remove the spread of Foot & Mouth Disease according to Your covenant mercy.
Action item 2: Prayer for Protection Over Livestock and Food Supply
Deuteronomy 28:8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake.”
- Lord, we ask You to command Your blessing over barns, grazing fields, dairy farms, and meat production systems. Protect cattle and livestock from infection. Shield food production from collapse and preserve the food supply so that households may not suffer lack. Lord, we declare that Your people will speak life and destiny over South Africa. Let the Church rise in prophetic insight, breaking darkness, reversing curses, and aligning the nation with Your covenant purposes. May our prayers move the hand of God in every province, city, and community.
Action item 3: Prayer for Wisdom for Authorities and Farmers
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
- Father, grant wisdom to veterinarians, agricultural authorities, policymakers, and farmers. Provide sound strategies for containment, prevention, and restoration. Let there be timely intervention, scientific clarity, and cooperative leadership to stop the spread swiftly.
