Genesis 11:1-9
Now the whole earth had one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and they dwelt there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth

God’s Kingdom on Earth
Prayer Points: God’s Kingdom on earth is to establish righteousness and justice, restore what was lost and to gather a people unto Himself
Action item 1: Establishes Righteousness and Justice
Psalm 89:14 “Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before your Face”
Romans 14:17 “For the Kingdom of God is… righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”
- Lord, establish righteousness in our land. Judge corruption, injustice and oppression that mercy and truth may be established.
- Father, Your Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. There where agreements, covenants and empty words have brought confusion and robbed our nation of joy, we call on Your mercy to intervene, render them null and void. Uproot it and remove them from the foundations of our nation and restore peace and joy in our nation.
Action item 2: Restores what was lost through sin
Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost”
Colossians 1:13 “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love.”
- Father, we thank You that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Draw those who are far from You and open their hearts to the truth of the gospel.
- Deliver them from the power of darkness and bring them into the kingdom of Your beloved son Christ Jesus. Let many lives be transformed as they encounter Your mercy and salvation.
Action item 3: Is to gather a people unto Himself
John 14:2-3 “In My Father’s house are many mansions, …I am going to prepare a place for you”
Matthew 9:37-38 “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborer’s few; pray the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborer’s into His harvest”
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
- Lord of the Harvest, according to Matthew 9, raise up laborer’s in this generation. Fill Your people with compassion and boldness to share Your good news.
- Father by Your Holy Spirit, draw those who are far from You. Open their ears to respond when they hear Your call.
- Raise up disciples who will faithfully carry out Your mission until the whole earth knows Your name.
