Week 9: Faithfulness Produces Increase
Day 61 (2 April 2026)
Faithfulness in Relationship leads to Increase (Part 2)
Action Item 1: Faithfulness to Parents brings longevity and Well-being.
Deuteronomy 27:16 “Cursed is the one who treats his father or mother with contempt.”
Ephesians 6:1-3 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 Honour your Father and Mother – which is the first commandment with a promise- 3 so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, … he will not depart from it.”
- Father, Your word declares in Deuteronomy 27:16 that dishonour towards parents brings a curse. I repent for any way I have dishonoured or disrespected my father and mother in words, actions or attitude. Forgive me Lord and I renounce and uproot every pattern of dishonour in my blood line. Establish a new legacy in my family Lord. May my family walk in a legacy of righteousness, honour and love. Let Your name be glorified from generation to generation as this legacy continues in Jesus’ name.
- Father, Ephesians 6:1 calls me to obey my parents in the Lord. I repent for every act of disobedience, knowingly or unknowingly. Forgive me and remove my sin as far as the east is from the west. Bring healing in families by restoring every relationship that has been strained or broken through sin in the name of Jesus.
- Lord as the culture of honour is restored in our family, let Your promise in Ephesians 6:2-3 be fulfilled; that it may go well with us and that we may enjoy long life. Release life, peace and wellbeing into our generations.
- Father, thank You for the children You have entrusted to us. You instructed us in Proverbs 22:6 to train them in Your ways. Where we have fallen short of that instruction, bring healing and restoration in damaged relationships. Give us wisdom to guide them in Your way. Draw our children close to You. Protect them from ungodly influence by establishing Your truth in their hears. Establish Your ways in their lives as You guide them in paths of righteousness.
Action Item 2: From Delay to Fulfilment: God turns barrenness into Blessings.
1 Samuel 1:20 “…that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying ‘I have asked for him from the Lord”
Exodus 23:26 “No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land…”
1 Samuel 1:5-6 “…the Lord had closed her (Hannah) womb… 6 and her rival provoked her severely, making her miserable…”
Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward”
- Father, You are the source of all life. You are the Restorer of every barren place. I bring before You every form of barrenness, physical, spiritual, emotional, or generational. As You remembered Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:20, I ask You to remember Your daughters. Open wombs, spiritually, and in the natural. Father, You are the God of miracles. As You supernaturally opened the womb of Sarah, Hannah, Rachel and Elizabeth. I ask You to do what only You can do. Let creative miracles take place and let Your faithfulness be a testimony to all generations I pray in the name of Jesus.
- Your word promises in Exodus 23:26 that none shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in our land. Father, we stand on that promise today. Lord, reveal anything that needs alignment in my life. Order my steps and align me fully with Your will. Father as I continue to seek You, give me the grace to persist in prayer and not grow weary. Strengthen my faith as I wait upon Your timing.
- Father, silence every voice of shame and discouragement that is coming against Your daughters (1 Samuel 1:5-6). Strengthen their faith in You and meet them as their loving Father In Jesus name.
- Father, I declare Psalm 127:3 children are a heritage from the Lord! The fruit of my womb is a blessing from the Lord. Remove barrenness. Barrenness is not Your portion for me in Jesus name. Fruitfulness, multiplication and blessing are my inheritance in You. Establish a legacy of increase and fruitfulness in my life and in the generations after me.
Action Item 3: Faithfulness establishes Generational Blessing
Genesis 28:1-4 “So Isaac called for Jacob and blessed him…3May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples. 4May He give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”
2 Timothy 1:5 “When I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.”
- Father, Genesis 28:1-4: I declare the blessing spoken over Jacob by Isaac over me and my household that You will bless me, make me fruitful and cause me to increase in Jesus’ name. Let the blessing of Abraham rest upon me and my descendants. Establish me in every place You have called me. Make my life a witness of generational blessing in Jesus mighty name.
- Father, let genuine faith be established in my life and in my family in line with 2 Timothy 1:5. As faith is passed from generation to generation, let it flow through my household and remain strong in those who come after me in the mighty name of Jesus.
Action Item 4: Faithfulness to Grandparents brings Honour and Wisdom.
Job 12:12 “Wisdom is with aged men, …”
Proverbs 13:20 “He who walks with wise men will be wise,”
Psalm 71:18 Now also when I am old and grey headed, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.”
- Father, teach me to honour and value grandparents in my life. Let me walk in humility and receive wisdom from those You have place before me (Job 12:12).
- Lord connect me to godly counsel, that as I walk with the wise, I may grow in understanding (Proverbs 13:20)
- Father, use my life to carry forward the generational testimony of Your strength and power in the name of Jesus I pray. (Psalm 71:18)
Action Item 5: Faithfulness in Godly community produce unity and growth
Acts 2:44-47 “Now all who believed were together, … as anyone had need.
46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
- Father, thank you for friendships and communities. Unite our hearts in purpose and teach us to walk in love and generosity. Let Your presence be evident among our friendships. May our lives draw others to You daily.
Action Item 6: Forgiveness Restores and Releases Increase
Genesis 50:20-21 “(Joseph said) …But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”
Luke 15:20, 24 ““And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’“
Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Galatians 6:1 “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness…”
- Father, what was meant for evil in my life, I ask You to turn it for good according to Your purpose (Genesis 50:20-21). Father, You are the only one able to do it. Give me the grace to forgive. Let my life become a living testimony of the power of Your restoration.
- Father, in Luke 15:24, the Father of the prodigal ran towards his son. Fill my heart with the same compassion and forgiveness. Teach me to run toward reconciliation and restoration, welcoming others with love and mercy. Lord, bring restoration in relationships where there has been distance and brokenness. Revive relationships the enemy tried to destroy. Bring healing and reconciliation and turn them for Your good.
- Father, as in Matthew 6:14-15, give me a heart that forgives freely, just as You have forgiven me. Help me release every offense, hurt and resentment against others. Cleanse my heart from bitterness and allow forgiveness to open doors of reconciliation, healing and restoration.
- Father, give me the compassion, wisdom and love to restore others in a spirit of gentleness as Galatians 6:1 instructs us. Guard hearts against pride and judgement, Keep us rooted in Your goodness to bring healing and restoration in the lives of others in Jesus’ name we pray.
