Week 12: Securing the Throne: Enforcing Christ’s Lordship Over South Africa
Theme Focus: Having journeyed through seasons of revelation, alignment, and establishment, we now enter the final phase of the Prayer Shield over South Africa. A phase that demands spiritual authority, precision, and unwavering resolve. What has been revealed has been established, and now what has been established must be secured. This is not a time of laying foundations, but of ensuring that every foundation laid according to the purposes of God remains firm, unshaken, and immovable.
We stand at a decisive moment where the work of intercession shifts from agreement to enforcement. The righteousness, justice, and order we have contended for must now be upheld, guarded, and legislated in the Spirit. This is the work of spiritual occupation, where every gate that has been opened to righteousness is sealed, every system that has been aligned is secured, and every sphere of influence is brought under the undisputed Lordship of Jesus Christ.
As watchmen over the nation, we take our position with heightened awareness and authority, discerning and dismantling every attempt of resistance, regression, or reversal. We declare that South Africa will not return to former cycles of corruption, injustice, or disorder. Instead, we enforce the permanence of God’s Kingdom, establishing a spiritual climate where righteousness governs, justice flows, and truth prevails without compromise.
This week calls us to function not only as intercessors, but as gatekeepers and spiritual legislators, as those entrusted with the responsibility to ensure that what God has begun is brought to fullness and secured for generations to come. We close every door that has given access to darkness and establish boundaries that preserve the work of God in our land. We affirm, through prayer and decree, that the authority of Christ is not temporary or partial, but absolute and enduring over every system, structure, and institution within the nation.
As we approach the culmination of this 90-day assignment, we do so with the conviction that the Kingdom we are establishing is unshakable. We stand in the authority given to us through Christ to secure His rule, to enforce His will, and to declare with certainty that South Africa belongs to Him. There will be no retreat, no reversal, and no relinquishing of ground. What has been established in righteousness will stand, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ over this nation will be both evident and enduring.

Day 3 (21 April 2026)
Enthroning Righteous Authority:
Installing and affirming righteous rule across all spheres
Action item 1: Call Forth and Establish Righteous Leadership
Pray specifically for the raising, positioning, and establishment of leaders who will govern with integrity, justice, and the fear of the Lord across all spheres of the nation.
Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”
- Establish Righteous Leadership Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to raise, appoint, and establish righteous leaders across our nation. Let men and women of integrity, truth, and justice be positioned in every seat of authority. Remove every influence of corruption and compromise and replace it with leadership that reflects Your heart. We declare that as the righteous come into authority, our nation will rejoice, and peace, stability, and justice will prevail.
Action Item 2: Establish Governance on the Foundation of Righteousness and Justice
Pray for national systems and structures to be rooted and sustained on righteousness, justice, truth, and divine order.
Psalm 89:14 “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face.”
- Uproot and Dismantle Ungodly Systems: Father, in the name of Jesus, we stand on Your Word that every plant not planted by You will be uprooted. We speak against every system, structure, and pattern established in corruption, injustice, and unrighteousness. We uproot, pull down, and dismantle every ungodly foundation. Let every structure built outside of Your will be overturned and brought to nothing.
Action Item 3: Enthrone Christ’s Authority Over Every Sphere
Make intentional decrees that Jesus Christ is Lord over every domain – government, economy, education, media, and society! and that His authority governs all.
Daniel 7:27 “Then the kingdom and dominion… shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High…”
- Enthrone the Lordship of Christ: Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that all authority belongs to You. We enthrone Your Lordship over South Africa and every sphere within it. Let Your dominion be established in government, the judiciary, the economy, education, media, and culture. We declare that Your Kingdom rules over this nation, and Your authority governs every system and structure. Let every competing influence bow to Your name, and let Your rule be established in righteousness and truth.
