Week 01: National Consecration
Day 01 (1 June 2026)
A Call to National Humility Before God
Humbling ourselves before God as a nation and acknowledging our complete dependence upon Him. Set aside intentional time for personal repentance and humility before praying for the nation. Approach prayer with reverence, surrender, and a heart yielded to God.
Action Item 1: Call the Nation to Humility and Repentance
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Daniel 9:5 “We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.”
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
- Lord we come in humble repentance: Father in the mighty name of Jesus, we humble ourselves before You as Your word says we should on behalf of South Africa (2 Chronicles 7:14). We acknowledge that You alone are God and that our hope, security, and future are found in You. We confess the sins of our nation – idolatry: freemasonry, ancestral worship, satanism; pride, corruption, injustice, violence, murder (including abortion), immorality, division, and rebellion against Your ways. Lord, forgive us and cleanse our land. Let a spirit of humility and true repentance sweep across this nation, from government to households, from churches to communities. Heal our land and restore us to righteousness.
Action Item 2: Acknowledge God’s Sovereignty Over South Africa
Psalm 24:1 “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”
Psalm 22:28 “For the kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations.”
Colossians 1:16-17 “For by Him all things were created… and in Him all things consist.”
- We declare You are sovereign over South Africa: Lord God Almighty, we acknowledge that South Africa belongs to You. Every province, city, institution, and people group falls under Your authority and dominion. Forgive us for the ways we have exalted human wisdom, political systems, and ungodly ideologies above Your truth. Today we enthrone You over this nation and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over South Africa. Let Your Kingdom rule over every sphere of society, and let Your will be established in our land we pray in Jesus’ name.
Action Item 3: Consecrate the Nation Unto the Lord
Joel 2:15-16 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.”
Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
Leviticus 20:7 “Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.”
- We consecrate our nation unto You O Lord: Father, we consecrate South Africa unto You in the name of Jesus. We set this nation apart for Your purposes and Your glory. Purify our hearts, our homes, our churches, and our institutions. Remove defilement, compromise, and idolatry from our land. Let Your fire of holiness burn once again within the nation – raise Your altar in our land. Hollow South Africa out and raise it as Your own altar according to Exodus 27:8 – fill this nation with the blood of Jesus as You purify us to Yourself. Raise up a people who will walk in obedience, truth, righteousness, and the fear of the Lord. May South Africa be marked by Your presence and dedicated fully unto You in the name of Jesus we pray.
