WEEK 18: SOUTH AFRICA A BLESSING TO AFRICA

Day 125 (3 October 2026)

Theme: KINGDOM PARTNERSHIP ACROSS AFRICA.

Praying for South Africa to develop and strengthen righteous Kingdom partnerships with nations, churches, ministries, leaders, institutions, businesses, and communities across Africa. Pray against competition, superiority, exploitation, suspicion, division, and self-interest that hinder meaningful collaboration. May God unite African nations and Kingdom communities around shared purposes of righteousness, peace, the Gospel, human flourishing, and the advancement of His Kingdom, while honouring the distinct gifts, cultures, resources, and assignments He has placed within each nation.

Action item 1: Pray for Godly relationships and trust to be established between South Africa and other African nations.
Psalm 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.”

Romans 12:10-18 “[Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”

Ephesians 4:1-6 “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.”

  • Father, in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we ask that You establish righteous relationships between South Africa and the nations of Africa. Break down suspicion, resentment, rivalry, superiority, and historical wounds that hinder genuine fellowship and cooperation. Give leaders and peoples grace to honour one another, speak truth, keep covenant, and build trust. Let relationships across the continent become stronger than competing interests, and let the unity of Your people become a testimony of the reconciling power of Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Action item 2: Pray for Kingdom partnerships that combine the distinct gifts and capacities of African nations.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 “4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”

Romans 12:4-8 “4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 “9 Two [are] better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him [that is] alone when he falleth; for [he hath] not another to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm [alone]? 12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

  • Our Lord and our God, we pray asking You to reveal and honour the distinct gifts, wisdom, resources, and assignments You have placed within the nations of Africa. Deliver us from the mindset that one nation must possess everything or provide everything. Teach us to recognise the contribution of each nation and to bring our strengths together for the advancement of Your purposes. Connect churches, ministries, educators, businesses, professionals, innovators, and leaders across borders so that shared capacity produces greater Kingdom fruit. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Action item 3: Pray for partnerships that advance the gospel, justice, peace and flourishing across Africa.
Philippians 1:3–5 “3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;”
Amos 5:24
“But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”
Matthew 6:10 “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven”.

  • Father, establish partnerships across Africa that serve Your Kingdom purposes and the wellbeing of people. Let cooperation between nations and institutions strengthen the proclamation of the Gospel, discipleship, justice, peace, education, economic opportunity, reconciliation, and human flourishing. Guard these relationships from corruption, exploitation, hidden agendas, and self-serving alliances. Let Christ remain the foundation and governing authority of every partnership, so that what is built across Africa will endure and bear righteous fruit. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

  • We declare Ecclesiastes 4: 9 and 12 over the African continent. That there be unity between the nations of Africa with South Africa leading in fostering a partnership with God as a continent so as to fulfill God’s purpose for the African continent.”
  • We declare that El Roi opens our eyes with wisdom, so that as co‑labourers with Christ, we may recognise that the continent of Africa, with its abundant mineral resources, can stand independent of foreign nations that impose policies upon African countries.
  • We declare that God’s purpose for the continent will manifest in blessings, for where there is unity, God commands the blessing. (Psalm 133)
  • We declare that the eyes of our spirit are opened to recognise the power of working together with other nations for the advancement of the Kingdom of God here on earth.
