WEEK 21: STEPPING INTO OUR APOSTOLIC MANDATE – A NATION SENT
Day 137 (15 October 2026)
Theme: Occupy Until He Comes.
Action item 1: Pray for Faithful Stewardship of Every Kingdom Assignment.
Luke 19:13 “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’”
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 “Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”
Matthew 25:21 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’”
- Father God, Your Word requires that stewards should be found faithful. We repent for the times we have neglected opportunities and abandoned the places and responsibilities You have entrusted to us. Help us to see ourselves as servants of Christ and stewards of what You have entrusted to us. Let us be found faithful. Teach us to faithfully cultivate and develop the small things that You have entrusted to us, to protect, multiply, and bring forth fruit worthy of Your Kingdom. Reveal to us where we are wasting and abandoning our talents that we may turn it around for Your good. Lord, as we are found faithful in what we have been given, increase our capacity to do business till You return. Father, we long to hear You say “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the Joy of Your Lord.” We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
Action item 2: Pray for Steadfastness when Kingdom Assignments become Difficult.
1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Hebrews 10:35-36 “35Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:”
- Father, we repent for the times we grew weary while doing good, were discouraged while standing in faith, compromised our beliefs, got distracted and retreated in the face of opposition. Father, as we enter Your presence through the precious Blood of Jesus, restore our confidence and the promise of a great reward; the assurance that You will make a way. Help us to remain where You have positioned us, as we stand steadfast on You, our Rock, knowing our labour in the Lord is not in vain. In due season we will reap if we do not lose heart. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Action item 3: Pray for what God Establishes to be Preserved, Strengthened and Multiplied.
Psalm 90:17 “And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.”
Isaiah 58:12 “Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”
2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
- Father, we repent for the times You gave us a breakthrough and we let it slip away. We ask You to use us to preserve and rebuild our old, broken places and to strengthen foundations to stand for many generations. Make us repairers of the breach and restorers of streets to dwell in that Your work may grow into lasting structures, cultures, institutions and practices. Teach us to pass on to what we have learnt to other faithful people, who will teach others in turn. May the beauty of the Lord rest upon us.as You establish the work of our hands. Let it becomes an inheritance for the next generation that keeps bearing righteous fruit. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
