One language; One Righteous Alignment

Additional Scriptural Anchors:

Genesis 11:1-9 (The Story of the Tower of Babel)

Day 29 (1 March 2026) – “The Church Returning to Alignment with the Word of God”

Action item 1: Separating the Truth from the lies by Acknowledging God as the only sovereign Creator

Genesis 11:4Let us make a name for ourselves…”

Hebrews 11:3By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God…”

  • Lord, we acknowledge You as the only Creator of Heaven and Earth. Our enemy has no power to create. We acknowledge that You have framed our world through Your Word.
  • Father, we humble ourselves before You and we ask for Your mercy over us and our nation. Lord, we confess that our thoughts, speech and actions have aligned with the speech of the world and not Your Words of Life.

Action item 2: Repent of aligning with the enemy’s language, speech and narrative over South Africa

Genesis 11:1Now the whole earth had one language and one speech…

Ephesians 2:4-5But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, …”

  • Forgive us and have mercy on us as we repent, renounce and revoke what we had spoken over our nation, its leaders its people and ourselves out of fear, ignorance, division, pride or rebellion.
  • Give us clarity to see how our words have not aligned with Your promises, provision and protection. We ask you to realign our words and our mouth with Your words to bring forth life and not death.

Action item 3. Guarding our thoughts and words

2 Corinthians 10:5Taking every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ…”

Psalm 141:3Set a guard over my mouth, LORD, and keep watch over the door of my lips”

  • Father, we put on the helmet of salvation. Teach us to take every thought captive, pull down arguments and high thing that are contrary to Your thoughts and Your ways.
  • Place a guard over my mouth so that my speech aligns with Your Word. We ask you to convict us of every idle word and destructive speech.
  • Give us clarity to see how our words have not aligned with the promises, provision and protection in the Word of God.
