Week 6: Rebuilding the Ancient Foundations and Establishing Generational Legacy

Day 38 (10 March 2026)

Day 3: Restoring Family Foundations

Action item 1: Restore Family Altars

Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

  • Father, we pray for the restoration of family altars across our nation. Let households turn away from idols, distractions, and ungodly influences, and choose this day to serve You. May every family establish prayer, worship, and the Word as the foundation of their homes, becoming sanctuaries of Your presence and covenant faithfulness for generations to come.
  • Lord, raise up families who declare, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Restore generational altars of prayer, intercession, and obedience. Let parents lead with integrity, children walk in covenant, and households become strong witnesses of Your kingdom, shaping the destiny of our nation through godly legacy.

Action Item 2: Heal Generational Wounds

Malachi 4:6 “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”.

  • Father, we ask You to heal the wounds between generations in our nation. Turn the hearts of fathers to their children and children to their fathers. Break cycles of abandonment, bitterness, and misunderstanding, and restore covenantal love and unity across families and communities.
  • Lord, heal the generational breaches that have weakened our nation. Restore honour between elders and youth, Let wisdom and vision flow across generations. May our land be preserved from the curse of division, and may our people walk together in covenant, building a legacy of righteousness and peace.

Action item 3: Break Cycles of Destruction

Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).”

  • Father, we declare that through Christ, our nation is redeemed from every curse and destructive cycle. We break the hold of poverty, violence, corruption, and generational bondage over our land. Let the power of the cross annul every destructive pattern, and establish righteousness, peace, and prosperity in our nation.
  • Lord, by the blood of Jesus, we cancel every curse spoken or enacted against our people. We break cycles of destruction in families, governance, and communities, and release covenant blessings of life, healing, and restoration. May our nation walk in the freedom purchased by Christ, reflecting His kingdom purposes in every sphere of society.
