WEEK 7: RESTORATION OF NATIONAL IDENTITY AND PURPOSE
Day 47: (17 July 2026)
DISCOVERING SOUTH AFRICA’S PROPHETIC CALLING: Praying for revelation concerning God’s unique assignment for South Africa.
Action item 1: Ask God to reveal His purpose and destiny for South Africa.
Acts 17:26-27 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Isaiah 46:10 “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,’”
Action item 2: Pray for prophetic voices, watchmen, and Issachar leaders.
Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”
Ezekiel 3:17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore, hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.”
1 Chronicles 12:32 “of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;”
Action item 3: Declare South Africa’s alignment with God’s assignment.
Isaiah 60:1-3 “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. 3The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Habakkuk 2:14 “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable’”
- Heavenly Father, we ask You to reveal Your original purpose for South Africa to the Church, government leaders, educators, business leaders, and the next generation. Give us prophetic clarity about our nation’s role in Africa and among the nations. Replace every false identity and limiting belief with Your truth and Your vision for our future.
- Lord, raise up faithful prophetic voices who will hear Your heart, understand the times, and speak Your truth with wisdom, humility, and courage. Strengthen spiritual leaders to guide our nation into alignment with Your will, so that South Africa may fulfil the calling You have ordained. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prophetic Declarations
- We declare that South Africa will not miss its God-appointed purpose. The plans and calling of the Lord for this nation will be fulfilled in His perfect timing.
- We declare that every agenda, scheme, and influence that opposes God’s purposes for South Africa is overturned, and the will of the Lord alone will prevail.
- We declare that South Africa will walk in the destiny ordained by God, bringing righteousness, justice, hope, and transformation to its people.
- We declare that South Africa will be a blessing to the continent of Africa, bringing leadership, reconciliation, and hope according to God’s purposes.
- We declare that South Africa will be a testimony of God’s redemptive power among the nations, displaying His faithfulness, grace, and glory for generations to come.
