Day 49 (21 March 2026)

Day 7: Restoring Godly unity: Rebuilding oneness among God’s People

Action Item 1: Repent of Division; Rebuild Relationships; Restore Godly love

Proverbs 6:16-19These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.”

Proverbs 18:21Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and whose who love it will eat its fruit”

Matthew 5:9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God”

Colossians 3:13 “bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 but above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection”

  • Lord as we read through Your word concerning all You hate in Proverbs 6:16-19, we acknowledge, we have sinned, knowingly or unknowingly:
  • A proud look – Lord, I repent of every form of pride, proud look or proud heart. Break the spirit of arrogance within me and teach me to walk in Godly humility.
  • A lying tongue – Forgive me for every lying tongue, every word spoken in deceit, exaggeration, or manipulation. Lord, I acknowledge that death and life are in the power of our tongue according to Proverbs 18:21. Lord every word I have spoken in judgement or death over myself, others, my leaders and my nation, I ask you to condemn and to break the power of my spoken word. Put a guard in front of my mouth, train me to speak words of life.
  • Hands that shed innocent blood – Lord I repent for any way I have participated in harm, through my actions, my words or my silence. Forgive my hands that have contributed to hurt, directly or indirectly.
  • Search my heart to expose every wicked thought and intention. I repent for every plan, motive or imagination that has not aligned with Your righteousness. Cleanse me and purify my heart.
  • Father, forgive me for every time I have been quick to run towards evil instead of righteousness. Redirect my steps, that my feet may be shod with the gospel of peace on Your path of righteousness.
  • Lord, I repent for being a false witness. Every false word, misrepresentation and times I have spoken wrong about others. Let integrity and truth shape my word from this day forward.
  • Where I have sown discord among Your people, my brethren, forgive me. Forgive me for where I have operated in gossip, offense causing division and strife. Heal every relationship that has been damaged through me. Matt 5v9 declares blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God. Make me a vessel of peace and reconciliation, that I may be called a worthy son of God.
  • Matthew 6:15 declares that if I do not forgive those who have sinned against me, You will not forgive me. Lord, I actively choose to release and forgive those who have acted against me out of pride, lied about me, shed innocent blood that has affected me, harboured any evil and wicked intentions, been swift to do evil against me and all that concerns me, have been false witnesses and those who have sown discord.
  • Remove all legal rights that my actions and the actions of others have given the kingdom of darkness. We ask You to pour the balm of Gilead on all wounds. Come heal me, my family, communities and nation in the name of Jesus.

Action Item 2: Walking in One Accord

Acts 1:14 “These continued with one accord in prayer and supplication…”

Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven

Acts 4:31 “and when they prayed, the place where they assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness

Hebrews 10:24 “let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together

  • Acts 1:14 says they continued in one accord. Lord. Bring Your church into one accord in prayer.
  • Your word says in Matthew 18:19 that if two or more agree on earth concerning anything, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. Today we stand and ask You Father to restore corporate prayer for our nation.
  • Just as in Acts 4:31, when they prayed, the place was shaken and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. We ask You to shake every stagnant place in our lives. Fill us afresh with the boldness and fire and with the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Lord, we declare that as we stand in one accord. You Father will respond by bringing times of refreshing and commanding the Blessing over us- Life forevermore.
  • Make us a witness of unity to the world according to John 17:21 which says “that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me”.

Action Item 3: Guarding Unity through Humility and Servanthood

Philippians 2:3–4 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

John 13:14–15 “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”

  • Father, in the name of Jesus, we humble ourselves before You and ask that You purge every trace of selfish ambition, pride, and vain conceit from our hearts. Teach us to walk in true humility, esteeming others above ourselves and not looking only to our own interests, but also to the interests of others. Knit us together in unity through a servant’s heart, that we may reflect the character of Christ in how we love, serve, and honour one another. Let our unity be protected by humility, and may our lives become a testimony of selfless love that glorifies You.
  • Father, in the name of Jesus, as Christ washed the feet of His disciples, we ask that You cultivate in us the same heart of humility and willingness to serve. Remove every resistance to lowliness and every desire for status or recognition and teach us to serve one another in love. Let the example of Jesus be deeply rooted in us, that we may not only receive His grace but also extend it through acts of service. Bind us together in unity as we choose the path of servanthood and let our lives reflect the leadership of Christ – marked by humility, love, and sacrifice.

Closing Prayer for Week 7

Heavenly Father

Father, Your grace is calling us back to Your ways, back to truth, righteousness and life, is a gift we are truly thankful for.

Your mercy enables us to repent and be restored, cleansing us from every form of rebellion, division and deception, and drawing us back to Your truth.

Establishing Your Word as the authority in our lives has brought us powerful and healing, alignment and restoration.

Thank You For restoring the fear of the Lord within us as the foundation of wisdom, turning us away from evil and leading us into life. For rebuilding righteousness, justice and mercy in our lives and in our nation. For healing our nation and restoring what was broken.

We declare full restoration in families, renewing generational faith, and rebuilding unity in our homes.

Father, we thank You for healing walls of division among Your people and bringing us into one accord. Fire, boldness and power are a testimony to Your Spirit working within us.

We declare that every prayer prayed this week is sealed in the name of Jesus. Let every seed bear lasting fruit and protect every restoration.

We choose to walk in Your ways of unity, truth and love.

 In Jesus’ name

Amen
