Week 9: Stewarding the Kingdom: Faithfulness that Produces Increase
Day 1: Day 57 (29 March 2026)
Faithfulness leading to Increase
Action item 1: God Increases what is Faithfully Stewarded
Galatians 5:22-23 “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, … against such there is no law”
Luke 16:10 “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much”
Matthew 25:21 “‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter the joy of your lord.”
Matthew 25:29 “For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away”
- Lord, according to Matthew 25:29, I acknowledge areas where I have experienced loss due to unfaithful or unrighteous stewardship. I repent for not understanding and applying Your principle that faithfulness leads to increase (Luke 16:10).
- In every area of my life where I have not walked in faithfulness, forgive me. Cleanse me and remove every legal ground I have given the devil through poor stewardship.
- Thank You for restoring me to a position of right standing with You as I choose to align with Your ways.
- Teach me to be faithful in the small things. Develop in me the fruit of faithfulness by Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Give me the grace to remain consistent, obedient and diligent in every responsibility You have entrusted to me. Bestow on me a spirit of excellence in all I do, honouring You in both seen and unseen responsibilities. As I grow in faithfulness over few, I trust in Your timing to enlarge me with greater responsibility and increase as per Your promise in Matthew 25:21
Action item 2: Faithful in Small beginnings lead to greater harvest
Proverbs 20:4 “The lazy man will not plough because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing”
Hosea 10:12 “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow (hardened soil) for it is time to seek the Lord”
Romans 8:28 “We know that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord…”
Matthew 13:23 “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who bears fruit and produces; some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future’ “(NIV)
- Lord, I anchor my faith in the promise in Romans 8:28: ‘You work all things together for the good of those who love You’. Lord, I love You. I ask You to turn my situation around. Teach me Your ways. Align my heart with Your truth.
- Where I have failed to plough in seasons past (Proverbs 20:4), forgive me and have mercy on me. You know the plans You have for me, plans to give me a future and a hope. Let Your Word soften my heart as You rebuild my future and my hope.
- Let Your Word break open every hardened place in my heart as I seek You (Hosea 10:12). Make my heart good soil. Where there has been delay (winter), teach me to plough with Your Word. Guide me in Your truths as I continue to walk in obedience.
Action item 3: Sowing the Word, Reaping the Harvest
2 Corinthians 9:10 “He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
Luke 8:11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God”
Mark 4:14 “The sower sows the word”
Galatians 6:9 “let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart”
Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two- edged sword…” (KJV)
Jeremiah 1:12 “Then the LORD said to me, … for I will hasten (quicken) My word to perform it.” (KJV)
- Lord, You are the giver of seed. According to Your promise in 2 Corinthians 9:10, supply me with seed to sow and multiply every seed I release in faith.
- Lord, I receive Your Word as seed (Luke 8:11). Let it be deeply implanted in my heart, take root and transform my life from within.
- Father, teach me to faithfully steward. Help me to sow Your Word through obedience and righteous living. Strengthen me to not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9)
- Let there be a harvest. May every seed of Your Word produce in my life – 100-fold, 60-fold,30-fold. (Matthew 13:23) Multiple what You have sown and let is accomplish all You have purposed, bring forth lasting fruit for Your glory.
- Lord, bring acceleration. Your Word is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12) and You will hasten to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12) Let there be a swift fulfilment. Shorten the season of restoration and bring Your promises to pass quickly in the name of Jesus we pray.
