Week 01: National Consecration

A Nation Set Apart Unto God
Sealing the week of consecration by dedicating South Africa fully unto the Lord; affirming covenant alignment, holiness, and national surrender to the purposes of God. Take time to prophetically dedicate South Africa unto the Lord in prayer. Pray over the land, its people, leadership, future generations, and every sphere of society; declaring that the nation belongs to God and is set apart for His purposes.
Action Item 1: Consecrate the Nation Unto the Purposes of God
Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”
Leviticus 20:26 “And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.”
Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
- Lord we consecrate our nation unto Your purposes: Father, today we dedicate South Africa unto You. We consecrate this nation for Your purposes, Your glory, and Your Kingdom. Let this land be marked by holiness, righteousness, and obedience to Your will. Separate South Africa from every ungodly influence and align this nation with Your divine purposes. We declare that this nation belongs to the Lord and shall be used for His glory among the nations in Jesus’ name
Action Item 2: Establish Covenant Alignment Between the Nation and God
Jeremiah 24:7 “For they shall return to Me with their whole heart.”
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
Joel 2:27 “My people shall never be put to shame.”
- Lord we establish covenant alignment between You and South Africa: Lord, restore covenant alignment between South Africa and Heaven. Turn the hearts of the people fully back to You and establish this nation upon Your truth and Your Word. Let there be enduring obedience, reverence, and devotion toward You throughout the land. We renounce every covenant with darkness, corruption, violence, idolatry, and injustice, and we declare that South Africa shall walk in covenant relationship with the living God; we pray in the name of Jesus.
Action Item 3: Seal the Nation Under the Lordship and Covering of Christ
Colossians 1:18 “And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the pre-eminence.”
Psalm 91:1 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Revelation 5:12 “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honour and glory and blessing!”
- We seal South Africa under the Lordship Covering of Jesus Christ: Lord Jesus Christ, we seal South Africa under Your Lordship and covering. Let Your authority reign over this nation and let Your presence dwell within our borders. Cover the land with Your mercy, protection, and truth. We declare that no purpose of darkness shall prevail against what You have consecrated unto Yourself. May South Africa stand under the shadow of the Almighty and fulfil the destiny ordained by Heaven, we pray in Your precious name.

Closing Prayer for Week 1: NATIONAL CONSECRATION
Preparing the Nation for Spiritual Realignment
Heavenly Father,
As we conclude this first week of consecration, repentance, and surrender before You, we thank You for drawing South Africa into a deeper posture of humility and dependence upon Your presence. We acknowledge that You alone are God over this nation, and apart from You we cannot be healed, restored, or established in righteousness.
Lord, throughout this week we have repented for the sins of our land; for bloodshed, corruption, injustice, idolatry, rebellion, division, immorality, pride, and covenant breaking. We ask that the blood of Jesus Christ would continue to cleanse our nation from every defilement and every agreement with darkness. Let mercy triumph over judgment, and let Your compassion prevail over South Africa.
Father, consecrate this nation unto Yourself. Let a spirit of holiness, reverence, obedience, and surrender rest upon our people. Restore the fear of the Lord across every sphere of society; within families, churches, schools, communities, government, business, and leadership. Raise up a nation that honours Your Word and walks according to Your truth.
Lord Jesus Christ, we affirm Your Lordship over South Africa. We enthrone You over every system, institution, province, and people group. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done within our land. Establish Your righteousness as the standard over this nation and let every competing influence be brought into submission to Your authority.
Father, as this week established the spiritual foundation of consecration, we now prepare our hearts for Week 2: Spiritual Realignment of the Nation. Having humbled ourselves before You, we now ask You to align South Africa with Your righteous standards and divine order. Reveal every area where the nation has drifted from truth, justice, holiness, and covenant alignment. Let every misaligned system, value structure, and national pathway be corrected according to Heaven’s pattern.
We declare that South Africa shall not merely experience temporary emotional awakening, but deep and lasting transformation. Let consecration lead to alignment, alignment lead to healing, healing lead to restoration, and restoration lead to national establishment under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
We decree:
that this nation belongs to the Lord,
that righteousness shall arise within our land,
that truth shall become our foundation,
and that the purposes of God for South Africa shall prevail.
Father, seal the prayers of this week before You. Let every prayer offered in sincerity produce lasting fruit within the nation. May this Prayer Shield become a continual wall of intercession around South Africa, preserving, guiding, cleansing, and establishing the nation according to Your purposes.
We declare that South Africa shall arise in righteousness, alignment, healing, and covenant destiny.
