Day 2: Restoring Covenant Foundations
Action item 1: Pray for the Nation to return to covenant with God
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
- Father, we humble ourselves as a nation before You. We repent of pride, rebellion, and covenant breaking. Let our leaders and people bow in reverence, seeking Your face with sincerity. May our land be cleansed from every sin that has defiled it, and may we be restored to covenant faithfulness with You.
- Lord, as we turn from wickedness and return to You, hear us from heaven and heal our land. Restore our nation to its covenant destiny, and let righteousness, justice, and peace flow through every sphere of society. May our people walk in obedience, and may our land reflect the glory of Your kingdom purposes.
Action Item 2: Pray for the restoration of Honour for the Word of God
Isaiah 66:2 “For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.
- Father, restore in our nation a holy reverence for Your Word. Let leaders, families, and institutions tremble at Your truth, esteeming it above human wisdom and cultural trends. May Your Word once again be the foundation of justice, education, and governance in our land.
- Lord, raise up a people in our nation who are humble and contrite in spirit, who honour Your Word above all else. Break the pride and rebellion that resists Your truth and restore covenantal honour for Scripture in every sphere of society. May our nation be marked by obedience and submission to Your Word
Action item 3: Break all Ungodly Agreements
Isaiah 28:18 “Your covenant with death will be annulled, And your agreement with Sheol will not stand; When the overflowing scourge passes through, Then you will be trampled down by it.”
- Father, we declare that every covenant of death, corruption, and destruction made knowingly or unknowingly on behalf of our nation is annulled by the blood of Jesus. We break every ungodly agreement with darkness, injustice, and oppression, and we establish the covenant of life, truth, and righteousness over our land.
- Lord, let every agreement with Sheol, every pact with wickedness, and every alliance that resists Your kingdom purposes be dismantled. Deliver our nation from hidden contracts of evil and align us with Your everlasting covenant. May our land be governed by Your Word, protected by Your Spirit, and restored to walk in divine destiny.
